I am not a fan of cushion packaging, but I LOVE this foundation. It gives a natural look with medium coverage. I just pat it on with the sponge provided and then lightly smooth out the application. This is so much nicer than many of the high end foundations that just sit in my makeup drawer. It also provides a high SPF and is a cruelty free brand. YAY

I’m not into drugstore makeup at all.. But I must say this fusion foundation surprised me.. It is super easy to apply, great color, not full coverage & does a great job at concealing pores!! I know PF dsnt have a wide range of colors, guess I got lucky w/ the light/ med.. Only bad thing is that since I have oily skin I def need a setting powder..Other than that this is a well made product.. Especially on the go..

I have this and use it mainly for travel.
As we all know, these sponge compact makeup run out very quickly.
I simply pour my current liquid foundations into the center of the sponge and spread it out a bit.
It absorbs pretty quickly. I have several foundations in this compact now and love traveling with it
Just dab my foundation brush in it and go to town! And I don’t have to buy another one!

I bought both Natural and Ivory.
Ivory is a tad too dark and turns peachy bordering on orange on me. I actually find Natural lighter on
than Ivory and it doesn’t turn orange.
I’m quite fair, MAC NC15, Everyday minerals Rose 1C, Lucy Minerals Fair, Revlon Ivory
I’m also sensitive to chemical sunscreens and this cushion thing by PF has been comfortable to wear. It contains physical blockers like zinc oxide or titanium oxide. No itch, no burning stinging sensation, no rash, no teary eyes. Love it.

The cushion foundation concept is really good. The convenience of this stuff is pretty much unbeatable. I know that with the cushion I am getting quite a bit less product and for this reason I took off lippies for price. The foundation itself is impressive to me. The shade is a little warm for my neutral tone but still works fine, especially in the summer when I have a bit more color.

The packaging of this foundation is so adorable. I do enjoy a lot of Physician’s Formula products. This foundation is beautiful! It has a second skin feel and appearance. It does not exaggerate pores or fine lines. Even though I have very oily skin (tzone), this foundation holds up pretty well. It lasts me about 6 hours before it starts to show wear off and my nose was super shiny. I do have to touch up with powder throughout the day. I do no matter what I use but I am oilier with some foundations more than others. I love the high spf and it photographs nicely. It is definitely not a long wearing foundation. I have this in the color Natural, which is a yellow based shade. I’m an NC25 in Mac Prolongwear.

I love the concept of cushion foundations, quick and easy, no hassle! I love the packaging and everything about this, except for one thing. I purchased the shade fair, as I am a very pale lady (nw13 for reference) and fair was too dark by about 2 shades. I tried it with a tan and still it was too dark. It’s a shame, physicians formula really needs to work on expanding their shade range in both the lighter and darker sides of the color spectrum!

I’ve been looking for a 30+ SPF foundation for awhile, and so glad I found this. The colors are strangely named. I found Natural to be too light and Light to be just right, a little darker than Natural. I wonder how Ivory fits in the spectrum? They do need to make darker shades, though. I have dry, more mature skin, and find I need to put moisturizer on first as it goes on too dry for me. Yes, it is pricey, because there is very little product, but it does provide a really natural flawless coverage. I think it lasts, because I’ve worn it to the beach and haven’t noticed burning, tanning or freckling from it, but wouldn’t trust it all day there without layering another sunscreen under it.

I was so disappointed in this foundation. I purchased this with the hope that it would make a good summer foundation. I have tried 5 different times, different skin days, weather, humidity levels, etc. Every single time it looked amazing and flawless for the first two hours. after that, it broke up and looked patchy and I lost coverage. I ended up having to apply a different foundation so I wouldn’t go through the day looking like Vikki Vale threw a pitcher of water on my face.

This looks amazing for about fifteen minutes, then it separates and creates rivulets and fords – gathers in a way no makeup has ever done before on my face. Such a pity because I really wanted to love this. Meanwhile, I have scrubbed out the cushion and now use it to carry my sunscreen around in my handbag.
