[mini update I reallyyyy don’t recommend this , it barely does anything, when I first bought it it worked better, but now it’s like nothing ]
new review, I rewrote this so many times lol
I can’t really decide how I like it because it’s only been a month since I’ve started with it. I was used to benzoyl peroxide 5% and it got discontinued and this was recommended to me.
I like it because it’s quick and easy to apply, it’s a clear liquidy gel that’s not too watery and the packaging has a nozzle that makes it more sanitary to apply it. [though too little or too much comes out it’s getting annoying] it does a great job to calm down angry painful pimples and most of them do disappear quickly.
the cons are what make me so uncertain: at first too much leaks out of the tube , you lose some product and it’s already tiny compared to other skin products [maybe they don’t mean for it to be used much, I certainly noticed I can’t use this to “prevent” breakouts and I must be certain my skin has enough oil for it to mattify otherwise I will get some tiny flaky patches or some sensitivity and redness, I can only treat live pimples with it and do that maybe an extra one two days after initial treatment. but that’s it. must let the skin rest after using it a few times. I hope this makes sense.]
then, it’s too pricy for me. 16% [I think the clerk sold it me to with a minor sale because I was a new customer, the regular price is 20$ ] and I did get a new breakout recently when using it, but I won’t blame it just yet.
it’s not a bad product,it’s great for sensitive skin that is mildly oily or combination, I wouldn’t recommend it for the too oily skin types, but you only get a little amount that works on and off depending on the zit size and skin condition and the weather [it’s winter now so my skin is better] , Benzo used to be MUCH better at a MUCH more affordable price but I have to let that go at some point lol . they both cause some spots in the place pimples disappear but the svr-caused spot are more easily reduced, they disappear faster with time .
