I have sensitive acne prone skin and usually use toleriane ultra which agrees with me. Decided to try this for more hydration with no success. Made my skin more dry and also caused itch and redness. Be careful if you have very sensitive skin.

This is suprisingly a very hydrating and gentle cream! I have been using it for a few weeks now at night and I find I don’t need to slather a second layer of another moisturizer on, something I have needed to do with just about everything else I’ve used on my super-dry face. It’s a no-frills, plain jane cream with no scent that feels nice when applied but not greasy. I only use it at night so I have no idea how it wears unde makeup. As far as it being “soothing” I can’t comment on that, spring is right around the corner and a definite time of year when allergies often make my face itchy. I would like to repurchase it but since it’s a bit expensive and something I can get only via mail order (in the US) I am not 100% certain I will, perhaps if I can get a good sale on it somehow.

I have dry sensitive, acne prone skin. This cream is cool and soothing, and you dont need a lot at all. It does not make me break out, neither is it clogging. (Which i felt the Bioderma Sensibio did). No smell, just regular “cream-smell.”
Dry your face thoroughly before use. I feel like it gets very runny if you’re face is just a bit damp. Good price. I use their cleansing milk as well, great! A bit disappointed at ingredients: lots of weird ingridents, alcohols and also polymers (plastic! bad for nature!) Although I am, as you can tell, no expert.

I love this moisturizer, basic no frills just moisture. Has squalane oil in it which my skin loves and it is great under eyes too so no need for a separate eye cream. Absorbs quickly and concealer goes on great over this, no fragrance which is important to me.

This is one of my top 3 favourite moisturizers. It works wonderfully as a bland, hypoallergenic night cream to use in conjunction with my Retin A prescription. Keeps skin hydrated, never irritates my extremely sensitive skin. The convenient small tube makes it great for travel as well!

I have sensitive, dry and with the wrong products (and food) I break out.
Tried this for the first time today, picked up a sample from the local pharmacy. At first application, it felt great. It went into the skin and made it soo soft.
Afte about two hours my face started to itch. And when i looked myself in the mirror I had small tiny bumps on my forhead, and also some very small pimple like red bumps among them.
This to me is a reaction to this cream. So therefore, I cannot recommend it to sensitive acne prone skin.

Amazing product for combination skin. I used this on my dry skin and it’s gone within a day. Amazing and a brilliant make up base. One down fall is it feels a bit greasy at first but soon sinks in.

I’ve spent my adolescence struggling with eczema and psoriasis. Now that I’m in my twenties, my skin has reached some sort of normality, but is still pretty sensitive and prone to dryness, redness, itching and irritations.
I love Toleriane RICHE (the richer version of Toleriane) because it is a very simple, non-irritating moisturizer that does its job very effectively and lives up to its claims: it is very moisturizing, soothing and gives comfort to my skin.
My face craves for it, especially at night after I remove my make-up.
The texture is thick but spreads well. You can’t wear make-up immediately right after but once it is absorbed it doesn’t leave any residue and skin retains moisture for a long time and feels calm.
They kept the ingredients list very simple so the product can be tolerated even by the most sensitive skin. It has shea butter and glycerin on top of the list and it is fragrance free.
The packaging is a small tube, simple and without any frills, easy to carry around with you.
The price could be a little lower (in Italy it’s about 18 euros) because it is a 40 ml tube and not a standard 50 ml.
I’ve repurchased this countless times.
I wish that LRP would come out with a version of Toleriane that includes mineral Spf so It would be all I have to wear in daytime.
I’ve tried almost every pharmacy sensitive skincare line (including Avène tolerance extreme), but Toleriane is the best solution for my sensitive skin that I’ve found so far, and I’m going to stick with it as long as it is beneficial. Of course it is not enough on its own if you wish for anti-aging benefits, so I would add an anti-aging serum before it. (At night I pair it with First Aid Beauty repairing serum and Indeed labs Hydraluron)

I use a lot of LP’s products , some even on a daily basis eg sunscreen . But this did not work on my combi skin . It’s not moisturising enough and somehow I did not feel it provided comfort or calm down my skin , which is my way of assessing if a product is good .

I was so excited to love this product. La Roche Posay makes the only sunscreen (physical or chemical) I have ever been able to wear, Anthelios 60 Melt In Milk. Unfortunately for me, Toleraine Riche was not a good match. My skin is very dry and sensitive and has a tendency for becoming dehydrated. Upon application, this felt lightly tacky, like a typical moisturizer. But within a few minutes, my skin felt dry. To the touch, the finish was almost powdery.
On the plus side, I experienced no irritation when using this.
I am giving this product an average rating because, while it didn’t work well for me, I think it could work just fine for someone who has less dry skin. I’m realizing that my skin is only happy when I use balm-type creams. At the moment, my favorite is Egyptian Magic.
Although I will not use Toleraine Riche, I certainly wouldn’t call it a bad product. In fact, if you have sensitive skin, I would give it a try because, as I said, I experienced no irritation whatsoever. La Roche Posay makes really fine products. You might have better luck than me.
