I’ve hoarded quite a few of these large sample jars from their free promotional boxes and I’m glad I did. The soft cream texture absorbs quickly and doesn’t feel heavy on my skin, despite the slight effort required to spread the product on my face. It feels extremely hydrating and leaves my skin actually feeling smooth with a little bounce through the night. This is a great option as a night cream during spring/summer/fall where my combo/dehydrated skin still needs that extra oomph, but without the heaviness of my winter creams. I absolutely love this line’s fragrance – it’s a spa-like relaxing moment each time I put this on my face.
I’ve been such a believer in mainly Japanese and Korean skincare, but L’occitane products are slowly making their way permanently on my shelf. Whether or not it’s got the same long-term effects as my Asian skincare products, sometimes I just need to enjoy that spa moment I get with this line. At $65 for a 1.7 oz jar, I do have some hesitation on purchasing, so I’ll continue hoarding the freebies for as long as I can.

This is a really lovely, very hydrating yet not greasy cream. It softened my skin a great deal, even during dry winter weather. The scent is very enjoyable. This product did not irritate my sensitive and break-out prone skin. The jar is quite nice and slightly luxurious feeling, but I generally prefer tubes in order to preserve the freshness and hygienic state of the creme. I feel the price is too high for me to repurchase however.

I used a sample mini-jar of this given to me by the L’Occitane lady when I browsed in my local store. While I like this cream (and love, in theory, the use of helichrysum essential oil in products) it is too expensive and seemed like “just another” moisturizer to me.
OK – but no way I’ll buy a full jar. I love my trusty BeautiControl and SkinCeuticals.

It was ok, good moisturizer, but nothing special. Scent is similar to Caudalie, so I assume it is supposed to be grape. One of the ingredient is grapeseed oil. Lightly scented, a bit green, non-offensive.

I like this a lot. Lasted me about two to three months. I don’t like the jar packaging as it isn’t that hygienic. Plus points are that it didn’t irritate my skin, moisturized well, and did what it said it would. But it’s just too expensive and I’ll likely be looking at other brands when I run out of this one.

I got a small pot of this cream a while ago. My first impression was mixed: I like the packaging, it feels very luxurious and heavy, but at the same time, this packaging is not the best to preserve all the ingredients of the product.
The texture of the cream is quite nice, very emollient but not heavy at all in my combination skin. The cream, however, is very fragranced. It smells like cucumber, which is nice, but a bit overpowering for my linking.
After a few days of use I started noticing some tingling after I applied the cream and my face felt itchy. I noticed that this product contains some irritants, which might explain this reaction. Some of this irritants include: fragrance, rosemary leaf extract, linalool and limonene.

I actually really like this (maybe because it was a free sample from friend that works at L’occitane!). It’s like an emulsion texture just sinks into my skin with no grease at all and no breakouts. Previous review has a point – their is a fair bit of junk in there but also a couple of good ingredients. Minus point for jar (unsanitary). I did notice a slight brightening effect too – although not even half as much as with their more expensive ‘Imortelle Divine’ range. In either case far too exp for my budget so won’t be able to repurchase BUT so long as my friend keeps giving me those samples i won’t be saying no either!

This is the less potent version of the Immortelle Cream Mask. I have yet to understand the purpose of this product. It is okay in terms of moisturizer, but there are so many better options out there without so much junk in them. Additionally, this does not have any sun protection, so it is not particularly well-suited to daytime use. Finally- the price point is ridiculous since this offers few if any anti-aging benefits.
