I have the rose beige it is very pink (too pink for me), the consistency is good easy to apply with a buffing brush or beauty blender. It does not last on the t zone the full day and is a bit cakey around the eyes. I picked it up on sale but would not pay full price for it. I think I would prefer the infallible glow foundation but is always sold out in my colour which is a good sign. I generally wear a nw15 or n18 and have dry skin.

I do not know why but I feel that this foundation is the perfect dupe for the TOO FACED BORN THIS WAY FOUNDATION. When I wear it I have the same result as the TF. I will buy it again. Although I have dry skin I feel it comfortable on my skin. The shade VANILLA is a very good match for my skintone.

i haven’t worn foundation before that.I bought it 2 years ago.It was good cause it lasted 3 hours. Then i thought that since it says 24 hours ,it should last at least 6.Nope.After 2 years ,it lasts only 3.I bought lancome air de teint and it was worse. The same with smashbox studio skin.2 days ago i bought smashbox photo finish primer and it helps stay 7-8 hours. But alone only 3.I don’t recommend it cause i finally found a better foundation.Mac prolongwear foundation stays 5-6 hours along with studio fix powder.Without sales, these 2 products cost 70 euros.Luckily i bought them with sales and i spend 42 euros.Expensive but better than infallible

Love this foundation. Consistency is great and applies fabulously with a beauty blender. It lasts a long time when worn with a good primer and set with powder. It doesn’t go cakey and as someone with oily skin it takes longer than usual for my skin to get shiny.
Highly recommend!

I use this foundation everyday simply because of the medium coverage (which i enjoy for everyday) and also because of how long lasting it is. I use the urban decay de-slick primer under this foundation and set it down with the rimmel stay matte powder. I’d say that it lasts me about 8 hours before I feel like I need to re-powder my face a little, and for me that’s really good considering how oily my skin can get. Only negative is the flashback I get when i’ve worn it out, hence why I didn’t rate it a 5 for my overall rating. However I have purchased this foundation a few times and will definitely keep repurchasing to keep this in my collection!!!

Foundation reviews are boring but necessary!!!! In this one I will be comparing it too a similar foundation that is high end: Mac Studio Sculpt Foundation (I have done a review however it is old). Late last year I ran out of my base (think I was going through a tinted moisturizer phase). It was during a time where I didn’t want to spend on makeup so I went to priceline to find a cheaper foundation. This option was strange for me to buy because generally I love light weight minimal and glowy bases. This was marketed as a heavy matte finish. I must have been in a weird mood because I bought it. And I absolutely love it!
Formula:
They say this is matte. However I would really disagree with that. It isn’t glowy, but it is more of a satin finish. I have dry skin and it doesn’t cling to any dry patches. The texture is a more thick liquid, in that way it isn’t watery or super creamy but it sits nicely in the middle. It is very comparable to Mac Studio Sculpt. Loreal Infallible is a little more liquidy than sculpt and it dries a little more matte, so its not exactly the same. However for me its the most similar to Sculpt. It has a medium finish. It does built up to full nicely but with one layer it still allows natural skin to show through and is in no way a mask.
Colour:
Loreal in Australia has the worst shade ranges. They tend to stock Aus with less shade ranges (I think there is 6 or 8?). For me as an average yellow toned white girl I can get a shade that matches, but damn when are beauty companies going to cater for our POC women!?! Its actually so frustrating which is why I have marked it down because beauty has to progress further than thinking that 8 shades is enough. My colour is Radiant Beige. Worst most misleading name because it isn’t beige. It is yellow toned. I am a NC25 in Mac Studio Sculpt and it is pretty much the identical colour match.
Packaging:
Its good, squeezy tube which I like. It doesn’t feel luxurious, but has the same feel as the Nars Tinted Moisturizer. Travel friendly and no need to worry about it smashing. I like it because I want something fuss free, as long as it doesn’t: which it doesn’t!
Price:
I will compare to Mac Studio Sculpt as it is the most similar I have found. Loreal Infallible is $29.95 in Australia at Priceline (yes Loreal is super overpriced here, I think its considerably cheaper in US). At Chemist Warehouse you can get it for $25.00 (sometimes they do it cheaper aswell). It has 35ml, so is 0.85cents a ml. Mac Studio Sculpt is $54.00 *omgitssoexpensiveformacinaustralia. There is 40mls in the bottle, which works out to $1.35 per ml. So its quite a bit more expensive. For me Mac is so overpriced, and the loreal is pretty much exactly the same and better value for money. Some people like MAc just because of the brand name, that is ridiculous to me because why not get something just as good (and probably better actually).
All in all, I love this product for ME. It matches me great and also is a formula I love (the name is misleading, its not matte!). But seriously Loreal, when will you actually offer a shade range that is accessible to all women and men of all colours and tones, ridiculous considering your massive global market!!!! (and the fact you own plenty of other companies that are doing pretty well at being inclusive…..)

For me it is just an all-right foundation…I have to admit I had high expectations because of the rave on the infallible products.I have combination skin and although the foundation is mattifying at first, after a couple of hours (and even sooner than that if it’s too hot) my cheeks get oily. I’ve also noticed that it transfers quite easily and it emphasizes thin lines or dryness. The shade I bought is number 11 (vanilla) and although it is marked on the packcage that its coverage is high,I definitely wouldn’t say so. I think I’ve read somewhere that inspite the marking of the packcage, the lightest shades are not as full coverage as they claim to be and I come to agree, even if I don’t really care because thankfully my skin isn’t that troublesome… It is buildable to a level though, smooth to its application with a damp beauty blender,I am also satisfied by the shade (let’s admit that drugstore foundations hardly ever have a wide variety of shades),though I ‘d prefer it just a tad darker (def. not an entire shade darker but a little bit) and it is not cakey either.
So really, what dissatisfies me the most is the fact that it’s not matte on me,although I’m definitely not that oily,in fact it feels as if is brings out the oil on my cheeks…Maybe I wasn’t lucky with its formula so I personally wouldn’t rebuy it,but I do recomend to give it a try…

This is a nice foundation until you take a flash photo, the flash back with this foundation is AWFUL. Made me look like a literal ghost, I even had people point it out to me asking why I’ve been looking so pale recently. It also settles into fine lines and pores and exaggerated them for me, however it is very matte and has good longevity. I have very oily skin and it kept my face matte for a good couple hours. Disappointing about the flashback however, not a good foundation to wear on nights out etc but it doesn’t look terrible in natural light.

Great foundation for every day. Gives really nice coverage and very blendable. The bottle lasts longer than I expected.
The thing that really makes this for me is the range of colours available. I have really pale skin and have yet to find a foundation which actually fits my skin tone. I wear this foundation in porcelain and it is perfect! A perfect match for really pale skin.
It gives a lovely matte finish and lasts quite a long time, it gets a bit patchy towards the end of the day but nothing major and easily solved with a cheap translucent powder on top.
Would definitely recommend, especially for those with really pale skin.

I have combination/oily skin that can get very oily toward the end of the day in particular. I have acne scars including some pigmentation and had spent a heap of more expensive foundations (Estee Lauder Double Wear, Nars Sheer Glow, Napoleon, Smashbox), and this was the best one for my skin and goes on really well whether it’s with a brush or my finger. I have tubes of it everywhere (even in my handbag). It’s matte and stays on from the morning to the night, and I only usually blot my skin about once at the end of the day, but even then it’s not much. It doesn’t slide off my face like the others I’ve tried, doesn’t rub off onto everything (e.g., someone’s shirt when I hug them). And randomly, I’ve discovered mixing it with Revlon Colorstay (I don’t use Colorstay on it’s own) because the consistency of the mixture/how it sits on my skin is really nice and natural, too.
