Very pleasantly surprised by this. I wanted to get the benefits of ‘masking’ but as personally not a fan of sheet masks decided to try this. The mask comes in a hefty glass jar and has a delicate, soothing scent. Texture wise it’s thick but not heavy, greasy or goopy. I applied it two to three times a week on my face, neck and chest and found it to be very moisturizing. In fact I wake up to a very well rested and dare I say bouncy looking skin! Despite it being an overnight mask there was no staining on my silk pillowcase. It does somewhat leave a film on your skin because after rinsing you can feel like there’s some slip but it didn’t bother me. Note that I have dry, dehydrated skin with hardly any breakouts. this however may be considered heavy for someone with oilier skin especially if you live in a humid environment like me. Overall I was quite happy with this – it’s expensive but it works and lasts a long time.

I received a sample of this and I liked it right away. I had been looking for a sleep mask for my dry, delicate neck and décolletage (which is very different in texture and concerns than my combo/oily face). I had used the original Black Tea Mask for this purpose, but I didn’t really like the texture (it felt very silicone-heavy and would pill on my skin). This mask does feel sticky when applying it, but I let it sink in for 4-5 minutes and the tackiness absorbs in and it never feels heavy (I use it in place of a nighttime moisturizer). The next morning, my neck and chest feel firmer, smoother, and stronger. I never noticed any staining on my sheets or other adverse reactions that other reviewers’ have had. It doesn’t seem to leave a film on me, nor are the effects lost after my morning shower. This is very pricey, but until I find something cheaper than this and just as effective, I’ll take the plunge and buy the full size jar (once I have a coupon).

Very natural smell and refined texture.
I feel comfortable when applying this mask, and feel it very convenient to wear for the whole night.
I have good skin tone and complex after using it overnight. Very good product.
I should remind myself to use it at least twice a week.

Got as a sample at Sephora. The SA said the trick with something as emollient as this mask is to NOT apply a thick coat. I used a thin layer and could see results the next day. I used again the next night and had the same result. We’ve just begun running the heat in our house, so I wanted a product that will keep my skin from drying out, and this seems to be working. I also use Nude Rescue Oil in the morning. The price is pretty high, I will most likely get the trio set of Fresh masks at Sephora, that seems like the best value.

I haven’t experienced any itching or burning from this product as other reviewers have reported. So far, I’ve only used it once a week, so the price is not too bad. If I used it every night, I would say the price is quite high, since I think you need to apply it pretty thickly to get the benefit. I apply it so thickly, that I have to wait a little while until it is no longer really “goopy”. I takes hours for it to totally dry, but that’s why it’s so great! My skin is moist and a bit firmer than usual when I wake up. In the dead of winter, I may up my application to 2 nights per week. I’ve never used a hydrocolloidal bandage, but I imagine the effect of this mask is sort of like that.

I tried this Mask and the other perfecting one (see my review) and they are both not worth the high price. I don’t like the texture of either of them. You really have to rub to get it on your face – it doesn’t truly sink in – sits on top. As soon as you shower in the morning, it comes off and your skin feels dry all over again. Wouldn’t bother – a plain moisturizer would be better than these two Masks.

I too received this from Sephora as a sample. Since I ordered frequently I got some more samples – enough to last me a few weeks.
This has a custard feel- pudding like. it is thick but glides on smoothly. It does look shiny when its on the face but since I am used to oils and gels I don’t mind. i would rather replace my sheets than lose the suppleness of my skin unless I have a toe tag on.
That said, I diligently used it for three nights. The first morning after my skin looked plump, smooth and soft. I was itching to order it but the little hoarder voice was squelched by some common sense- wait and keep testing. After the third night I had the signs of a small pimple on my cheek (my skin is normal and never breaks out). By noon of the same day I had two additional smaller zits. Maybe despite my age this cream is a bit heavy for me. I would love to love it but won’t commit to the full size until next winter when the heat is on and the Polar Vortex blows my coat inside out. i like it but feel it might be too heavy for this season.
i will keep trying it once a week to see if it works it’s miracle on me.

I only have a sample, but I like it. I would probably purchase it if it weren’t so pricey. My skin feels smoother and more supple after I use it, and the consistency is pretty great.

My skin loves this s***. I got a sample with a Sephora order that lasted me four days. This mask feels like a super emollient cream going on, but in the morning, when I rinsed my face, I noticed the cream had left behind a thin film on my skin. I can only assume this serves to really lock in the product overnight and let it work it’s magic without getting rubbed off on your pillow. Despite the price, I may very well buy a full sized tub of this to combat winter dryness when it gets cold again. I didn’t experience any stickiness like the other reviewer, even thought I sleep on my face.

I own the regular black tea mask and really enjoy it, so I got a sample of the overnight mask, which is the same price, a whopping $92. This has a thick custard-like texture, unlike the regular mask, which has a unique whipped, airy texture. However, it has the same subtle fruity smell. It applies very wet and takes a few minutes to dry (I have combination skin so I only applied it to my cheeks and neck). When it is dry, it leaves a weird glossy sheen on the skin that is slightly tacky to the touch. But then when I got into bed, my face got stuck to my pillowcase. This was very uncomfortable, and I almost washed it off but I was planning to wash my pillowcases today anyway, so I braved it the entire night. When I woke up, my face was baby soft and nourished. So I probably wouldn’t have purchased this anyway because of the price, and I definitely won’t now because of the stickiness.
