I was stoked when I heard about the Consonant brand because they use organic, natural, ingredients. I really wanted this product to be my holy grail moisturizer, but unfortunately it is not. The positives: it was unscented, lasted for at least 3 months so well worth the dollars, did provide the necessary hydration I needed during winter. The negatives: it does NOT smell good (although over time I got used to it), it sits rather heavy and does not absorb nicely, and it broke me out! I started getting cystic acne on my forehead, which I never had before, and that was quite disappointing. I think I prefer the basic Neutrogena oil-free moisturizer to this one, but I preferred Consonant to First Aid Beauty. Still looking for my holy grail!

This is a classic case of excellent on paper but did not work in practice. Like all of their cream/lotion products, this face cream has a strange tacky texture that felt uncomfortable on my face, and with prolonged use eventually broke me out. Also, it made my makeup look cakey on my face, not at all flattering, and i only wear the tiniest bit of L’oréal True Match.
PS. There is something fishy about the company. Yes they are super sweet and will refund anyone not 100% satisfied, but i noticed that none of my negative reviews were posted to their website. The website appears to only post positive reviews.

I exclusively use this product line for facial care.
The moisturizer is organic, has no added scent, and works well to make my face feel moisturized at night and in the morning. I also have sensitive skin and will develop small bumps, or redness easily with products. Consonant is the only line to not irritate my skin and actually clear it up 100%. This moisturizer stays true to the line and has caused no bumps, stinging, or redness.
However: it is not enough to keep the dry patches of my face good to go all day long. I use a couple drops of bio oil at night in conjunction with this product though and I am extremely happy with those results.

Wanted to love this moisturizer. Claims to be organic, no harsh ingredients and suitable for all skin types especially sensitive. I tried the dry skin formulation and had a terrible reaction to it. This moisturizer turned my face completely red and sore.

This is the best all-natural moisturizer that I have ever tried. It is certified organic, with all-natural ingredients. I have sensitive skin, and there has been no irritation – it’s very gentle. The product is unscented, but there is still a distinct smell. However, you can’t exactly place what it is. I’ve been using this for about four months now and it is a great summer moisturizer. Will definitely repurchase when it runs out!
