Pros:
+affordable price
+great bendable wand and great cone shaped brush
+no too wet,not dry formula
+does a perfect job in holding a curl
+does a very good job in lengthening lashes
+has moderate volumizing effect
+it’s application isn’t messy as there’s not too much product sitting on brush and mascara doesn’t transfer to lids while applying
+it’s not clumpy, doesn’t stick lashes together
+makes dramatic changes but doesn’t make lashes too thick, spidery, stiff or unnatural
+makes my lashes look so good that I received complements on my lashes( FYI,I have medium length, thin, black, straight lashes, not full not sparse either)
+doesn’t irritate my eyes
+doesn’t smudge even after a nap and a long day in a hot and humid climate and I also had it on my lower lashes!
+doesn’t flake
+is truly waterproof(I washed my face while I had it on my lashes)
+it’s not difficult to remove with a two phase oil based eye makeup remover.I also removed it once with Vaseline (Petroleum Jelly) and a wet cotton pad
+it has a pretty packaging
+smells good
+I could easily layer it with another mascara after having it on my lashes for about 12 hours
Cons:
-I feel there’s not much product in it’s tube.I feel I’m going to run out of it quickly or it will dry out quickly.this is just my feeling and time will tell if it’s right or not
-it’s almost impossible to find (in my country)
-doesn’t make lashes too black(it is black but I have had much blacker! mascaras)
-it’s almost impossible to remove it by normal micellar water or cleansers
I LOVE it
Bought this one just because It’s wand seemed nice and the photos other Makeupalley members had uploaded on Miss Manga’s topic caught my eyes.the washable version wasn’t available and I wanted to try it badly so I had to buy the waterproof one.this is the second waterproof mascara I have ever had, first one was WetnWild Mega Length, well I guess it doesn’t count as that one is so easy to remove but this one,it’s truely waterproof. It didn’t even move with my Bioderma Sensibio H2O or La Roche Possay Toleriane Dermo Cleanser.I had to use two cotton pads soaked in an oil based eye makeup remover in order to completely get rid of it(the other day that I traveled to my hometown and forgot to take my eye makeup remover had to remove it with Vaseline and wet cotton pad) ..I believe it totally worthes this difficulty in removing as it also has the benefits of a WP mascara.it really won’t transfer, smudge or flake even at the end of a long day. I have also washed my face while I had this on and it stayed put even after splashing tones of water to my face
It doesn’t create a mess on my lids when applying thanks to it’s bendy brush and not so wet formula.I find it a mascara with easy to use, quick and fuss free application.there’s no need to wipe off the wand beforehand, combing lashes afterwards or cleaning up mascara smear on my lids.fortunately I don’t have any problems with it’s flexible wand and brush.I love it.the good point is there’s no need to use another mascara for lower lashes
I was worried that it may be very clumpy and too dramatic but there was no need to worry.it doesn’t clump, doesn’t stick my lashes at all,no spider leg lashes.I LOVE how long, seprated, curled and beautiful it makes my lashes.it’s not too dark, too thick, too wet.doesn’t put too much product on my lashes.doesn’t make them crunchy and hard.it just keeps my lashes as high as possible and holds a curl perfectly.it gives my lashes a bit of a spikey look, but spikey in a good, not brittle way.most mascaras make tips of my lashes thick, but not this one
I love trying new mascara and I’ve tried more than 30 different mascaras until now from drugstore to high-end brands.Miss Manga is definitely among my top three favorites, right now I have five mascaras in my makeup bag,a Lancome and as Estee Lauder being among them(I know,I wish I could stop my addiction to buy cosmetics) and I reach for Miss Manga Waterproof the most, even though it’s difficult to remove it(not difficult with an oil based eye makeup remover)
it makes my lashes look amazing yet not overdone, has easy and quick application, stays perfect the whole day and doesn’t smudge or flake and doesn’t hurt my eyes, what’s more to ask?
I feel Miss Manga is one of those mascaras that don’t have much product and dry out or finish soon.I bought it for 6.5 USD and I don’t mind paying this even every month for such a great mascara but unfortunately it’s not available and whenever I finish it,it’s gone for good! What makes me sad is that I know I can’t replace it when I run out of it.makeup stores don’t carry it here and I found one accidentally.the same store had also one Manga Rock so I may go back and buy it hoping to have similar results(but I don’t think I have much chance.I don’t like the pics I saw when I googled for Manga Rock results.that one seems to be clumpy and sticky)
p.s
Yesterday I had this on my lashes from 8am to 8 p.m, at 8 p.m I was going out and wanted more dramatic look.I curled my lashes and applied Essence Lash Princess with purple writtings on top of it and it looked great..this one seems to layer well with other mascarasusually I can’t curl my lashes after having a mascara on them for 12 hours!

Far worse than the non-waterproof version. This does nothing special, although in common with most waterproof mascaras, it holds a curl better than the washable stuff. It doesn’t dramatically lengthen or fatten lashes and is terrible even on bottom lashes. The packaging is cute but it can’t save this mascara by itself. Avoid!

Not sure why there are so many bad reviews. This is awesomeness! My two go-to mascaras have been Voluminous and Maybelline Full n Soft, obviously for different reasons. I was looking for something more dramatic than FnS but Voluminous was giving me major raccoon eyes (and I don’t wear mascara on my lower lashes). I tried Miss Manga and I am HOOKED. I no longer wear eyeliner, thanks to this stuff. I have pin straight eyelashes. I curl them and then apply Miss Manga, and my lashes stay curled and flirty all day long. Yes the brush is flimsy, but I think it is by design to give you the look of separated (but not clumpy) lashes. Love this stuff!

I got this at discount at Walgreens for $3, and thank God I didn’t pay full price!
I have long curly lashes and this mascara did NOTHING for them. The applicator is weird and super flexible (why L’Oreal?) which I don’t mind at all, but it has no real purpose. As you start to brush through your lashes it starts to inevitably clump them together and adds NO volume and NO length to them. It just looks messy. And then you start to try to remove the clumps and before you know it you have mascara all over your eyelids!
So it reduces your lashes to half. Let’s say you have 10 lashes, this will separate and stick them together so you look like you only have 4 lashes left. It’s just BAD and the name is gimmicky but the packaging is really cute.
I gave it 2 lippies because the formula doesn’t flake or smudge throughout the day but please save your money and get a better cheaper mascara.
(I LOVE the Jordana Best Lash Mascara and it’s only $4)

This has gotten pretty shit reviews- and to a point, I understand them.
This mascara has a tendency to CLUMP like a fucker- and it drives me crazy. I always have to use another mascara (I’ve been using the Cover Girl Full Lash Bloom mascara wand) to break up the lashes. Puts product on thickly, and does give me really nice, dramatic lashes. But it clumps. Maybe as it gets less watery it won’t do this & then I’ll give it the full 5 lippies it deserves.
Holds my lashes up pretty much all day and the packaging is ADORABLE.
For a good dramatic lash look though at a cheap drugstore price, this is your bet. I normally go for CGLBV in waterproof, but I’ve been trying other mascaras to get a more full, dramatic look.
The brush is nice because it’s so flexible, as well as the wand. I like this feature but I know plenty of people who won’t. Not for everyone, but I think it’s worth the try for only like 7 bucks.

Really good for holding up curls, my eyelashes stays in place the whole day. It is buildable and creates thick long lashes. I always get complimented on how long and thick my lashes are, and some people even mistake it for false lashes! That’s what i really like about this mascara. I actually love the wand’s shape as it curves naturally to my eye and helps apply mascara nicely. However it does clump up and smudge a lil bit, is very very difficult to take off and it dries out faster compared to other mascaras!

I finally tried this mascara and I LOVE it! I think it makes my lashes look amazing, its super easy to apply, builds well. This isnt really a natural look mascara as it does clump very slightly, but the length is a great trade-off. It stays on. Be aware that the applicator brush is flex-y… really no learning curve though

I’ve never been quite a splurger on mascara since you have to throw it out on 3 months. I actually never really like to use mascara since it can be troublesome to clean. But who can resist the result of a swipe of mascara right? My lashes are short and straight. I wear mascara usually just to define my eyes so I only use one swipe. Once my maybelline mascara ran out I’ve been debating over magnum barbie, heroine make, or this miss manga mascara (they only have the waterproof one in Indonesia). I decided to go for this one just because wkwk. The brush is undoubtedly big and a bit difficult to fit my small eyes. But the result is beautiful and just like the way I wanted it. It lasted all day without flaking and it stays even though I washed my face over and over after wudhu but somehow not difficult to remove. Love it. But would I repurchase? No. There are many mascaras that i want to try.

I had better luck with Miss Manga Waterproof than many of the other reviewers. I prefer it to Maybelline Lash Sensational Waterproof, which made my lashes feel very stiff and didn’t build much length or volume. However, I doubt that I would ever buy it again.
With Miss Manga Waterproof, I can build very long lashes. Building it up does require patience and many coats. Even when I apply very liberally, clumping is minimal and if it starts to clump, it’s easy to separate the lashes by using the tip of the brush, and if that doesn’t work for you, lash combs are great tools. I actually like the flexible wand. Long stiff wands can be unwieldy. The volume is pretty good, though not dramatic enough to be impressive. I bought the color black, but it’s not black enough. It’s a wimpy black compared to some of my other mascaras.
The formula doesn’t have any fragrance, and it doesn’t make my eyes itch (a problem I’ve encountered with other mascaras, even more expensive ones).
It holds a curl pretty well. It doesn’t flake or make my lashes feel brittle. It holds up well in water and humidity. Because it’s waterproof, it does require makeup remover or oil (Josie Maran’s Argan Oil works nicely) to take this off at night.
The price is affordable. I’ve noticed some minor smudging under my eyes when I use it on my bottom lashes. I have to remember to touch up with concealer.
Another disadvantage to this product: L’Oreal has a long history of animal testing, and I wish it were a cruelty free brand. I’m hunting for a similarly priced waterproof mascara that’s cruelty free. Unfortunately, it seems that most companies can’t make amazing waterproof mascaras. Still on my quest for a great one.

This product dried out after about 5 uses!
I liked how it extended my lashes however it did not make them thick/dark at all which I thought it would be good for.
After about 5 hours it doesn’t look like you’re wearing mascara, it easily flakes..
Not worth your money!
