   Trust the negative reviews. This is a lovely color but the formula is less than impressive.

   This shadow is a bit hard, dry, and sheer. It fades away easily and is difficult to build.

   I bought it on sale but will not buy it again.

   I am including 2 parts to this review. The first is the review of this used as an eyeshadow. The second is for this used as a highlighter.

   ***Eyeshadow***
   PROS
   *Nice light pink/lilac
   *Decent price
   *Nice, simple packaging. I like that there isn’t extra packaging making it bulky.

   CONS
   *Fades quickly and a lot
   *Color payoff is not that great
   *Powdery

   ***Highlighter***
   PROS
   *Light, cool-tone pink/lilac (which is VERY hard to find for normal highlighters)
   *Great sheen on the cheeks
   *Sheer color payoff. Enough to tell it’s a cool-toned highlight, but not enough that it looks like lilac streaked across the face.

   CONS
   *Not much product since intended for use as an eyeshadow
   *Somewhat powdery

   For me this eyeshadow was really nice for a simple eyelid color. However it was a little to flaky (if that makes sense). It’s so a little to purple for my taste but I used to use this color every single day. I will continue to use it and overall it’s a good product 🙂

   I love this eyeshadow, But like almost all loose powder shadows, you need to wear a primer underneath.

   I really love this color.It goes on so nicely over a base.I don’t have any problems with it’s pigmentation.When applied on it’s own it add this nice glowey look to your face. When I don’t feel like wearing much makeup this tops off the look.This can be used with a light hand as a really great highlighter.I think that paler colors need a base, otherwise it won’t be as wonderful.

   Aura is a very sheer light pink almost white!
   when applied it looks white with a hint of pink but as the day goes on it fades to just barley visible sparkles unless you re-apply it or pack it on

   I love this color 🙂 I was looking for a sort of silvery light purple color and this looks amazing with my Annabelle Carbon eyshadow….I tried Aura today on my brown bone and slightly under my waterline and it really compliments my eyes and it looks just lovely 🙂 not to over the top, but not to sheer either. I am very impressed with Annabelle’s eyeshadows, I only paid $3.88 for this in Wal-Mart…for the price its amazing what great quality these are 🙂

   not sure if this helps, but a few reviewers mentioned how this doesn’t have much pigment…..I use vaseline as a base and the pigment is gorgeous, so maybe a baseis needed 🙂

   Okay, I will admit the pigmentation is not up to Annabelle’s usual standard unless you use UDPP and really really pack it on. However this shade is still more pigmented than any of the other drugstore brands I have tried (well, excluding Jane and NYX that is). In the pan it is a lovely pale lavender shimmer, like something from inside a seashell. Dip your finger in and you would be conned into thinking it is super-pigmented (why I bought it). However, it rubs down rather sheer which is a bit of a letdown as the initial colour is gorgeous. This would look lovely paired with a plumy-purple eyeliner though as it would sparkle nicely in contrast to dark shades. I am not disappointed by this product, it is just not what I had hoped for.
   As usual, I love Annabelle’s packaging and pricepoint (even cheaper when PharmaPlus has sales).

    Terrible quality. Just looks flaky with little sparkles. Hardly any colour. I will never use this again.
