Just finished a 20 year old trial sized sample and looking for this again. I have medium olive skin, apply blush directly and sparingly over dewy foundation or bb cream and set with a very light dusting of powder. This is one of few blushes that looks natural, like I have been walking on a windy day. No need to build, and the sample size has lasted 20 years (probably 2 years if used daily). I don’t quite understand shimmer blush (who has a natural shimmer when they blush, apart from unicorns?)

I will agree with other reviewers regarding the lack of pigmentation of this blush. This would be a lovely color for someone with very fair skin and neutral undertones. I have medium light mature skin (in my late 60’s) with cooler undertones and the color was undetectable. I believe this would perform better over a liquid, cream foundation or BB cream. It does not meld with powder foundation. Packaging and enclosed blush brush are the positives.

Maybe I got a bad one. I love this color but it is SO NONPIGMENTED not even funny how unpigmented this is. I got this in a GWP & I literally wasted so much scraping it w my thumbnail trying to get this to show up I’m so disappointed in Clinique that this sux!! This is the very first time I’ve been this disappointed in Clinique. They are usually so good but it would be unlikely for me to buy anything else from Clinique except QuickLiners, lippies, & SKINCARE–their 3 step is my HG. I’ll stick with MAC or maybe Lauder. #losing #taking1fortheteam

For those who are afraid of going overboard with too much blush, this
colour would be ideal. It is hardly-pigmented, so you need to keep
applying until it finally shows up.

I hate this blush. This is a matte, berry colored blush. I love the color, but It doesn’t show up on my skin. I have to keep on applying and applying it to get the color I want. This has a light pigmentation and it just did not show up on my skin.

This is a very natural, yet pretty blush on my fair skin. The shade is neither too cool, nor too warm. The packaging is nice and sturdy. I don’t know if I would recommend this blush for darker skin tones. It’s not very highly pigmented, and I can see it fading away on non-fair complexions. I use a makeup setting spray, and I doubt this blush would retain it’s color without it. With it, however, this product works perfectly in pale skin for a pretty, yet natural glow.

I received a couple gift with purchase size of this blush and have used it for a few months. I like that its nice and pigmented, flattering light rose color for everyday, and has no shimmer. Plus, it has no smell. Easy to apply with a brush and to carry in a purse. I’d recommend it.

I received this in my GWP and was pleasantly surprised. It is a very pretty cool toned berry color that has very sheer coverage. Personally I love it, since I don’t care for super pigmented blushes that leave me feeling like a clown after one little dab. It adds just a touch of color with one sweep, although I did try a few more coats and found it is pretty build-able. The lasting power is good, not great; I usually have to touch up after 5-6 hours or so. Overall I really liked it, but for the price I probably wouldn’t purchase it on my own since you can very easily find a much cheaper equivalent among drugstore brands.

I love this blush! Yes- I agree that it takes a bit to apply to get the color you want- which is a beautiful berry/mauve/natural flushed color! TIP: wet your fingertips (clean) and touch the blusher – Almost like a watercolor effect and apply to your cheekbones! I know it sounds absurd, but it works! This is the only blush product I have to do this with, however, the color and quality are absolutely worth it! Looks fantastic with Nars Bahama velvet lip pencil color and black mascara!!

I buy this blush mainly for the brush! I love Clinique brushes and especially love the ones they put in the blush compacts. They work perfectly and I never have found one for applying blush that I like better than the one that comes with this. The color on this one is nice too; a classic.
