This brand offers a try-before-you-buy, where you pay $5 for the shipping and have 14 days to return or get charged the full price $44 to keep it. The online quiz didn’t seem particularly insightful, but probably necessary since they offer 50(!) shades. The shade it picked (#105, medium neutral) turned out to be an excellent match for me (AAB/NC25). After moisturizer and primer, I apply with a foundation brush (ELF #102) for light coverage. The coverage can be built up without feeling thick or cakey. Comes in a frosted glass bottle with squared cross-section and black plastic pump dispenser and cap; feels hefty and sturdy. One pump is plenty for light coverage. Feels nice on my skin, like actual skin, not cakey or oily or too silicone-y. Feels like it soaks in rather than sits on top. An impulse purchase but I really do like it and am definitely keeping it.
Comparisons – leans a teensy bit more neutral on me than Kosas Tinted Face Oil Foundation in Tone 6. Both are better for me (shadewise) in the summer than in the winter.
