This palette was a bit disappointing and has kind of put me off from trying other Morphe palettes. I’ve used every shade in the palette and most of them lack pigment. The darker brown shades are okay, but the other colors really have to be built up, which I personally don’t like to do. I understand having to build up shades a little, but the number of times I had to dip into a single color with this palette was ridiculous. And when I finally could get the colors on, they would fade or disappear completely when trying to blend them at all. They also disappeared throughout the day, but this was fixed a little with an eye primer, which I highly recommend using with this palette. Most of them were also quite powdery. On a good note, they didn’t crease much.
I think I might give a smaller palette a try just to give Morphe a second chance, but this palette isn’t worth it.

I own two Morphe palettes, this one and the warm matte 350M and I like them both. The formula isn’t the best I’ve used (worth saying since some do go on about Morphe being extraordinary, it’s not). But, it’s really lovely. Not too powdery or dry and more pigment than you would expect for the price. I do wish they were a tad less dry and the lasting power was a bit better. The palette could also be much smaller (making it more easy to store and use). They could literally get these shades in 12 pans no problem. The shades themselves are truly neutral. I own the Viseart neutrals and they are actually quite warm. This palette is not warm at all.
Being in Canada, shipping a Morphe palette isn’t too expensive the product prices are right (though they are creeping up) and the cost for quality is pretty darn good. But, I’ve ordered twice and each time, I’ve had a surcharge on pickup. The post office said it’s not a shipping surcharge but a company requested one. So, basically, they are demanding more money for their products than advertised and hold the package hostage unless I pay it. I’m not sure if this is a Canada wide thing or not but from a bit of a Twitter search, it seems to be. So, on principal, I just don’t order from Morphe any longer. I would pay the extra up front np! I find, for the price, the products are worth it even with the surcharge but I won’t support these types of business practises. To those who say “it’s a shipping surcharge”, it is not. I’ve been ordering online from Canada before it was cool and easy. I know how this stuff works.

Meh. Granted, I’m used to high end palettes but this is super disappointing. Most of the colours lack pigment & there’s heaps of fall out. I get that it’s cheap but Zoeva manages to be good qualitywhile being cheap. Going to give this to my friend’s kid.

I am definitely not a fan of the 35 color palettes. You may think you are getting a good deal, but most of the colors are near duplicates of one another and contain many shades that do not work. Only about half of the colors were usable, mainly the shimmery shades and a few of the nude matte colors. They are also lower quality than the individual eyeshadows, and are not compatible with z palettes if you want to depot them. I would much rather buy the individual eyeshadows and create my own palette with only colors that I will use than buy the palettes.

I’ve been looking for a versatile matte palette for a long time. This palette is very pigmented and the quality is phenomenal. The problem is that the neutral shades are too warm for my skintone. The palette does contain cool shades, but the cool colors are mostly deep and dramatic. Out of 35 shades, there is only one highlight shade that’s light enough for my skin. The other light shades are too dark for me to use on my brow bone. All is not lost since some of the brighter shades I have used as blush, and other shades could be used for contouring and/or bronzer. If you are warm-toned, this would be a great palette for you. Cool-toned ladies, you will be disappointed.

ETA: If you are waiting for ELFs Mad for Matte 2 palette to be restocked, I just compared ELFs palette to this– all the Mad for Matte 2 colors are in this palette (and are all matte). You get 35 shadows for $20 with the 35N palette vs only 10 shadows for $10 with ELFs.***
I’ve seen mixed reviews online about Morphe (Brushes) eyeshadows, but I honestly love them. I bought the smaller KathleenLights palette as my first Morphe palette to try out just to see for myself how the pigment/eyeshadows compare to others I’ve tried (drugstore WnW, CoverGirl, MAC, Too Faced).
I love them, and I love love love this 35N palette. This has exactly the same colors as the 35W but just all matte. (so just like the 35OM is to the 35O). This one was also on super sale, marked down to $19.99
I sat on the Morphe website for about a week or longer, debating which palette I really wanted to buy (so many pretty pro palettes!). They have a ton, and they all look so beautiful – and I know that everyone and their best friend loves the 35O palette – but I ended up deciding on all matte colors – the 35OM (all matte – warm colors) and then the 35N (all matte – warm). After much consideration, I decided that going with all matte was going to last me more in the long run, and for the price for 35 eyeshadows, I have enough great crease neutral matte colors to never need eyeshadow again. I figured that shimmer/glitter shadows all look pretty in the pan and swatched, but once you apply them to your eyelid – unless they are really unique colors (like emerald green etc..) all the different bronze, browns, golds look the same when they are all shimmery (like in the 35O and the 35OS). I have a few WnW and Covergirl shimmer colors that I think are enough to go with anything and look identical to the shimmers in the 35O/35OS, which is why I didn’t choose those. To me, It’s the matte shades that are so much more versatile. I want to try every shade in my crease (that isn’t skin tone). They are super pigmented, creamy, and I find they do blend well (using eyelid primer) and they do NOT get muddy when layered. I used 2 different browns in my crease this morning, and you could see each one layered, as well as a darker that I put lightly in my outer v. They are STRONG colors and last all day.
*** Shipping info: I ordered all my Morphe palettes direct from the Morphe website. Almost ALL of the horror stories I read online for Morphe palettes getting busted, ruined, etc.. were from sites that didn’t ship direct (amazon etc..). If you buy these, I highly recommend buying them direct – because Morphe knows how to ship their products without having them get busted en route. My dad worked for a packaging delivery service for 40 years, so when my Morphe palettes arrived – Morphe did absolutely 100% everything they could to ensure that their makeup arrived in perfect condition.
First, I had them delivered FedEx, which is what they recommend. FedEx handles fragile boxes a bit differently than the general USPS. This is your FIRST #1 priority when deciding to buy these palettes – DO NOT have them delivered via USPS. If you order them via UPS – make sure that your local UPS does not transfer the package to the local USPS to deliver the box residentially – this does happen (and does in my city). To prevent this – choose the preferred delivery by FedEx. They hand deliver and since they are the chosen service by Morphe, FedEx knows Morphe boxes and knows what’s inside when transferring them. FedEx may be more pricey than USPS – but trust me – it’s worth the $8 shipping if you get your product in perfect condition vs. the horror I’ve seen (all shadows busted).
The box that held my 2 palettes was the perfect size (two 9×6 inch palettes -bigger ones) -and the box was fitted enough so the palettes wouldn’t bump/slide around inside the box; the box was then full of package peanuts so that the palettes were floating inside the box with cushion on all sides, it was marked FRAGILE, and then both palettes were bubble wrapped externally together – and then bubble wrapped individually INSIDE of their boxes.
They were in perfect, pristine condition – not a single one loose, not a single one busted. So, listen to Morphe when they tell you who to ship with – it’s worth it. Morphe got a 100% from me.
I also recommend buying Morphe palettes direct because of how many knock-off sites/products are out there trying to sell non-authentic palettes for less money – so if you really want to know how well Morphe shadows do, buy them straight from Morphe, not from Amazon etc.. to make sure you are getting the 100% correct product. I think this may be some of the reason why there are so many mixed reviews about Morphe shadows. Some may not have bought authentic products and don’t even know it.
