For Once, this is a GlamGlow product I could feel good recommending. However, I do highly recommend repotting this into an airless jar because some of the ingredients in this are sensitive to light and air. Especially when you spend over $50 for a moisturizer- you shouldn’t have to worry about it going bad or becoming contaminated with germs from your hands.
This is first moisturizer I’ve tried in a while that really impressed me! It is very hydrating for my dry skin, but never to the point where it looks greasy. Those with oily skin might prefer this more often as a nighttime moisturizer. I could imagine how those with very oily skin could find it over the top and too hydrating. The texture of the Moisture Trip is a little thick, although a little goes a very long way. A full amount from the size of the makeup scooper is all I need for my entire face. Another thing I use this mositurizer for is when I mix my retinol in it at night. I tend to mix my retinol with moisturizer on days when my skin is feeling overly dry and Moisture Trip works great for that.
GlamGlow also seems like they are realizing that more and more people are preferring products that have no scent. I was so happy to see the GlamGlow Moisture trip has no fragrance. One more thing I love about this moisturizer is that it doesn’t contain denatured alcohol. Definite winner, and I look forward to more GlamGlow releases that are better for those with sensitive skin, or a damaged skin barrier. My more detailed video review can be seen here: U
