A couple reasons why I tried this: their dark circle eye cream works incredibly well for me and seems to have an anti-inflammatory or so effect, Derma E claims to be ethical/cruelty free/good for the environment/etc, and I saw both this and the night crème for 33% off.
PROS: Nothing. Well, it’s not reactive to my skin in any bad way.
CONS: It calls itself “ultra-hydrating”, but what universe is this hydrating one bit? It imparts NO moisture to the skin. It doesn’t even feel wet or moist, it comes out a bit stiff and almost putty-like when spreading it on the skin. My product is not expired, and it doesn’t smell off. I can use a decent bit on my skin and I never have to worry about being greasy or anything. It even dries matte on the skin when first applied in no time! The entire description of this product feels like a total farce: “Radiant skin requires long-lasting moisture.” Not there. “You want a dewy glow” Not there. “that doesn’t dim as the day goes on” Not there. In terms of plumping up my skin or leaving it line-free, well I’m quite young so I don’t have many lines, but this cream doesn’t seem to make them worse or anything. In fact, it might help my skin look decent but I’m thoroughly confused because it does not feel hydrating. I’m giving it a 2.
I gotta say though, it does live up to some of it’s claims. “Apply a rich layer onto the face and neck and gently massage into skin until the cream is absorbed.” (you can definitely do this) “•Works well under makeup.”. (check) and “lightweight, silky texture won’t feel heavy or greasy on your skin”. (definitely). I just don’t know where they get off claiming this is really hydrating.

this is nice and it’s a bigger jar than other Moisturizers .its 2oz . this is my favorite moisturizer now . It’s nice and thick . I like that it’s thicker than other moisturizers I’ve tried and it just has a good neutral smell that is not strong or perfumy or fruity . it’s super moisturizing
