I purchased the SPF 15 Vanilla Coconut Lip Butter which is a little more expensive ($9) than the regular lip butter ($5) but specifically because I was looking for a balm with SPF for vacation time outdoors. This is an all natural lip balm with a very mild vanilla coconut scent to it. There is zinc oxide in it and the texture is stiff but still easily spreadable, it’s exactly what you need to have the balm last a long time on the lips. It does not look glossy nor does it look chalky. In fact, it doesn’t look like there is anything on your lips at all and that’s a bonus in my book because you can add other lip products overtop and it doesn’t alter the shade or texture like some other formulas do. I think this is a fantastic product, love that it is all natural and protects you from harmful UV rays.

I love these! They are not too thick not too thin, just the right consistency, not too shiny either so it’s perfect to wear under a matte liquid lipstick! The packaging is cute, the price is right and it’s mostly natural ingredients! I will keep repurchasing these for sure!
The only reason i deducted 1 lippe is because when my lips are extremely dry, this lipbalm doesnt cut it for me, but on normal days it’s really nice!

I’ve gone through 3 of these so far and I absolutely love them. Extremely nourishing and hyrdrating – these beat Burt’s Bees for sure! HG lip balm!

This stuff is amazing!! I have tried out a bunch of scents and they just keep getting better! They’re a decent price at $5 too! My only problem is that the label rubs off. Like its still physically there but by the time I finish a tube ALL of the writing and color has rubbed off.

The Rocky Mountain Soap company lip butter that I tried was the Peppermint lip butter. It smells so so good (think mint!) and one thing I liked about the lip butter aka: lip balm was the fact that it’s 100% natural! You could even check on product research websites. Anyways, I find that it can last at least 3 hours in an exceptionally ultra-moisturizing way if you use a lip scrub as a base. I wish it were waterproof so I could drink water or whatever.. close to being my HG lip balm.

I really like Rocky Mountain, both because its Canadian and also because its natural stuff, but had never picked up the lip butters before just because they had been out of the flavours I wanted. But I finally got around to trying them and picked out three – Coconut, Berry and Summer Lemonade. The scents are very nice, I especially like Summer Lemonade. The Berry one doesnt seem to have as potent a scent – I can barely smell it at all. These are in regular twist up chapstick tubes and the texture is nice, just the right firmness, though it takes quite a few swipes/layers across my lips to get ‘enough’ product on my lips. Its average for moisturizing and lasting power. I do find with these I have to apply more often than with some of my favourite balms but these arent the worst I’ve used by a long shot. Overall, I would buy these again but I’d say they’re average lip balms with a good price (3.99) – though still better than a lot of natural lip balms which are often too oily or mushy in texture.
