This is the BEST CONCEALER/COLOUR CORRECTOR brush out there. That’s right, not using it for foundation but for colour correction and concealer particularly under and around the eye. Perfect shape for this. I can add then pat in the product using this brush and sometimes use it to diffuse the product a little but usually switch to the Elf Flawless Concealer brush to blend a little. For application and getting it to exactly where I want the product the Pointed Foundation brush is the best.
I have other brushes and sponges that I prefer for foundation application but this one is amazing for the use I have described. Texture is great, soft and very suitable to the purpose I have described.

As of right now, this is THE foundation applicator for me. I’ve tried ones from Real Techniques (both the brushes and the sponge) since I’ve read so many good things about them but it just doesn’t give me the same awesome results.
This brush is the one that has given me the most compliments from people on my skin. I use it damp along with Revlon’s Colorstay foundation. I can use a light hand and give myself a skin-like fresh finish or build it up to a flawless base. I have bought this brush over and over and will definitely continue to do so. This brush doesn’t last as long as I would like though — around 3 months and then it just sheds like crazy and falls apart. It is so cheap that I don’t mind getting a replacement too much. Easy to clean and the shape/size is perfect.

This is a great brush! I wasn’t sure when I bought it what I was going to use it for because I use mineral foundation but it came to me. This is the perfect contouring brush. It fits perfectly in the hollows of my cheeks and on the sides of my nose up into my eye sockets. I love E.L.F. brushes and prefer them over natural hair brushes so this is a win for me! I am not sure what the price point is but I am sure it is 3-6 if I bought it. Also, I am pretty sure I got it at Target. Other than the concealer brush, this is my favorite brush! a+

I had no definite intentions for this brush when I bought it . . . that’s part of the appeal of ELF Studio Brushes; the prices are great so you can indulge in a few for play and the quality is so wonderful that you’ll surely find some use for each design!
I’ve found my love for this Pointed Foundation Brush: I use it to contour my entire face with my powder contour shade! I use it flat against my skin, point upwards, to sweep product beneath my cheekbones (perfect shape and application); then flat along my jawline, and again all along my hairline. Then I LOVE the point of the brush to apply contour powder under my lower lip, on the sides of my nose and lightly in the crease of my eyes. I follow with my mmu foundation brush to lightly blend my cheeks and jawline. LOVE THIS SHAPE! The brush is soooo soft and dense, and the pointed tip eliminates the need for different brushes to contour different areas of my face! Fabulous find and design! I think I will buy another to try applying concealer under my eyes as I originally thought I would use it. So very happy with this one!

I like to use this brush to blend out liquid highlight and it works perfectly for getting around my eyes, and blends out the product well, without rubbing it all off.

I really like this brush for contouring. I use it with my expensive sculpting powder because it doesn’t waste product. I have lost some bristles while cleaning but that hasn’t stopped me from using this brush. I would definitely buy this again.

I love this brush. All my ELF brushes are great; however this one is the newest addition to my collection and I’ve gotten a lot of good use from it.
Edit: 08/02/2014- I have mixed feelings about this brush. The bristles are synthetic and very flexible. They don’t hold the “pointed” shape and I find that this brush sheds. The quality just isn’t there. I still use it from time to time but it’s just not as dense or sturdy as a typical pointed foundation brush should be.
Edit: 03/01/2015- I just used this brush to apply my face mask, and it was perfect. I think that I finally found a great use for this brush. 🙂
Edit: 04/09/2015- Now I use this brush to apply my moisturizer at night. Go out and buy it, it’s a great brush and it comes in handy for things like this.
Edit: 05/22/2015- Idk why you are reading this review when you should be out buying this product. I love this brush, I still use it, and the great thing about it- is that it cleans so easily. I use Dr. Bronners soap on all of my brushes, but since I use this brush for moisturizer, I am always surprised at how easily all of the moisturizer is removed from the bristles. I highly recommend this brush.

Unlike the other reviewers, I didn’t like this for concealer. I’ve used the MAC 286 for quite a long time, and after trying all of the popular concealer blending brushes out there, I still prefer the 286. It’s more precise, and gentler on my under-eye area. This is just too big and too dense for that purpose.

This a fantastic brush for foundation or concealer under the eyes. I like the rounded pointed shape because it allows you to get close to the eye area (therefore you can use it for concealer) and near the nose very precisely. The round shape also leaves a better application less streaky than a flat foundation brush, don’t forget to blend anyway. It’s super soft, the price point is fair for the quality, I really like it! Yes I would repurchase

This is a really nice foundation brush that applies my liquid foundation evenly and smoothly. It’s very pricey IMO so had I known the true cost of it I would have left it. I don’t believe in spending this much for drugstore items. I wouldn’t recommend it or repurchase it.
Update: it started to smell moldy after several weeks so I tossed it.

I just bought this brush today, and I have to say it’s AMAZING!!! I needed a brush that blended my concealer perfectly, didn’t leave streaks, and actually hid my redness instead of moving the concealer around it. This brush delivered. I used this brush with my Hard Candy Glamoflauge concealer and it was absolutely perfect. I’m very impressed with the quality and performance of this brush. I will use this every day. Thank you Sonia Kashuk for making such a remarkable brush.

Wheeeeee – I love love this brush!!
Now, I am no makeup artist, so no idea why/how this could be used successfully as a foundation brush, but for my use – its the BEST concealer brush for a few specific needs. I currently use this to gently pat in my under eye corrector/concealer/brightner (I’m test driving a bunch of combos of these products currently) as well as EM light Aussie pick me up (light orange) setting powder under eyes and if I need any concealer powder along my nose. Brilliant!
So sorry I didn’t purchase this inexpensive, super soft brush years ago!

I use this brush for concealer and it is absolutely amazing. I specifically use this to cover up blemishes and redness on my face but also works well under the eye. It is the perfect size, shape, dense ness, and softness. It might seem like this brush is too big to get tiny spots but it’s perfect. It makes my concealer flawless.

I love this brush, it’s perfect for those spots that are hard to reach like in between your nose and eyes. It can look streaky when using it all over your face so you just have to make sure to blend.

It’s not often in drugstore shopping (or just being makeup-thrifty) that I find a revolutionary thing and this is something I regard as that: it’s something new and innovative – to me, at least! From E.L.F.’s website, this is $3 but frequently on sale for half off. This is a sturdy brush made with synthetic fibers. It’s thick, full-bodied, and something I look for in anything I’m using cream products with. This brush doesn’t necessarily work for foundation but for spot-concealing larger areas, under eye areas (primers and concealers, alike), and for contouring in depth, it’s amazing.
I use this particular brush because it’s shape is very intuitive and easy to handle. It’s pointed for areas like around the nose or around the eyes but large enough to draw lines and blend out like extreme or soft contouring. I use this with the cream bronzer/blush Studio duo and with the bronzer (deep matte cream coffee color), it goes on smoothly and is easily blended out with this brush. I’ll continue to use and find new uses for this thing, as it’s a steal for the quality and variations of use for this brush.
*Also, for costume makeup application or around Halloween, this will make a great brush for detail over large areas/body paints.

This brush gets great reviews but I personally despise it so much. I love E.LF products. I literally shop their on their site at least once a month, I purchased this brush and I think I liked it when I first got it but it got hard to wash and use, it felt extremely stiff when applying foundation and streaked my makeup, it was quite hard to blend product in, so I gave it to my sister who absolutely loves it. I love all of the other E.L.F products, and makeup brushes, but did not have a good experience with this particular one.

OMG This is my holy grail brush.I have sigma ones and I love this 10x more than any of those brushes. it doesn’t waste product by having the brush absorbing foundation.
.Besides the fact that this allow you to easily apply foundation around the nose and mouth this brush makes you look amazing .
This brush applies liquid foundation so easily and makes it looks so flawless with very little effort and no need for a another brush to buff in product. It’s amazing how evenly this brush applies foundation to the face.I find that this brush seems to help you get a fuller coverage look with no extra product.
I will be purchasing more as soon as I can!

I have tried all of the “popular” foundation brushes – including the one that everyone raves about – Shiseido. The Sonia Kashuk pointed foundation brush is my favorite foundation brush – its cheap and gets into all the tight spots on your face – worth every penny!!

I recently purchased this item out of curiosity and so far I actually love it. I do think it is a little small for a foundation brush but it worked out fine. Finally got a brush that doesn’t leave streak marks I was so amazed especially for the price. I wasn’t expecting the results I got. The shape is great because it can get in all the spots like under eyes and nose. For the price it’s such a great buy was a lot better than my MAC foundation brush that left streaks.
stressedEggs6
Like everybody said, it is great for blending concealer rather than foundation. The size and shape make it easy to use even on places like the side of your nose. And it’s soft. Doesn’t leave Streak mark.
It’s always good to have a nice brush like this to make the procedures quick and easy. For $12.99 this brush is a good investment.
