As someone with dry skin, I was so looking forward to trying this powder for its marketed glowing, satin finish. But I was disappointed by the actual product. It is quite finely milled, and performs just ok as a finishing powder – no radiant glow, and sometimes clings to my dry patches and texture more than matte loose powders I own! It seems the “glow” finish is nothing more than some fine glitter particles mixed in the powder, which are noticeable on skin if you look closely enough. I don’t want glitter in my loose powder!
The packaging, while elegant-looking, is extremely frustrating to use. It’s so big and bulky but the powder compartment itself is deceptively small. It is impossible to dispense powder into the lid without getting it *everywhere*. I’ll finish the product but it was a bit of a let-down.
