This product is pretty great. I have combo skin which has been really flaky due to increasing to 1% retinol from .5. Received a small sample bottle of this a while ago and thought nothing of it but when I started searching for what to do about flaking skin, this product came up often. Added it to my PM routine after my retinol and have seen a vast improvement. Flakes were gone in two days! It goes on smooth & dries quickly. My skin looks amazing and feels perfectly balanced. I’m glowing again! Why this is so expensive is beyond me but as long as I’m using retinol, I will be using this.

I saw the difference with just one day! I love it!! skin it’s glowing. I know it’s pricy, but I will start saving to try the vitamin C also! it’s worth it!

This broke me out. Was sticky and made my face a bit more red

I got a sample of this and I read the ingredients. You know what is nearly the same for 20USD? Sebamed Clear face gel.
Do not waste your money, people.

This product stings after application, and left my skin irritated. It did not add moisture, if anything my skin felt drier.

This serum is seriously awesome. I have oily combination skin that gets really easily dehydrated during the fall/winter months. I swear as soon as September came around I already felt my skin starting to crave hydration. My winter skin care is much different than my summer care but this serum remains a staple for me. I switch up toners and moisturizers but this seems to compliment whatever else I use. It is not oily by any means. It preps my skin for my moisturizer by plumping with water (using hyaluronic acid to bring water to the surface of the skin) and literally giving your skin a “drink of water”. Right now I’m following up with Clinique moisture surge gel-cream and the combination of the two is heaven sent! My skin feels so supple and plump day and night. The only thing I’m struggling with is the dry crackly skin at the tip of my nose which nothing seems to take care of but the rest of my skin is awesome while using this.
Also, not sure if it’s exactly “safe” to use on the lips but I’ve been doing it before using my lip moisturizer and it even plumps my lips up too I’m loving it. Just don’t ingest any of course!
The packaging is standard for most serums but I’m always afraid I’m going to forget to screw the dropped back in and tip it over! $90 down the drain I would be devastated, I did that with skinceuticals phloretin serum once and it was heartbreaking how much product I lost so I’m super super careful with this one. Anyways, I recommend to anybody of all skin types even sensitive, your skin will love it

Truly amazing product for all skin types that I cannot fault in any way (and I’m really picky). One of the best things you can find if your skin is dehydrated.
It’s super lightweight and extremely moisturising, which is not surprising when you take into consideration that it’s basically concentrated hyaluronic acid with added vitamin B5. It takes dehydrated skin into skincare heaven and leaves it bouncy, deeply moisturised and happy.
It absorbs super quickly and does not overpower skin either. It does not break me out or cause any issues whatsoever even though I’m super acne prone. It’s pricey, but you only need a few drops per use so it lasts for ever (for me it’s been nearly a year).
This is one of the best products on the market and it’s worth every penny.

This is super moisturizing without any trace of shine or greasiness. It gets rid of the flakies if you are using drying products such as benzoyl peroxide or other anti acne products. It also prevents flaking if you are in a dry climate. But it needs to be sealed in with a regular moisturizer; I am perfectly happy with Avene. This did not worsen my acne or clogged pores or supersensitive skin. I would highly recommend it, 2 thumbs up!

I really didnt want to buy this having spent so much money at my dermatologist clinic but i was talked into it. I have learnt that even though i feel as though i have the worlds oilest skin, my harsh acne treatments do dehydrate it to the point that the oils it produces cant compensate and so i must moisturise. I only realised this after using a magnifying mirror and decided to listen to the advice i was given. However, until now all moisturisers seemed to clog my pores and ruined my make up. This has truly changed my life. It gives some moisture without excess rubbish that is contained in creams. It dries without a greasy feeling and is fabulous under my make up, it looks even better! I put 3 drops between my hands and it covers my entire face and neck as it is so spreadable! I’ve got rid of all my other expensive but useless moisturisers, it has been three weeks and my acne has improved.

This has officially reached HG status for me.
I have a constant battle with dehydrated skin. To make matters worse, my skin is generally sensitive and I have been suffering from a damaged moisture barrier for the past year.
I’ve been using this morning and night for the last 4 months and am loving it! It does not irritate my skin, intensely hydrates as well as helps in retaining and preventing moisture loss from my skin, and is helping in repairing my skin moisture barrier. At first I thought it was only ok (just another hydrating step in my skin care routine). It wasn’t until I finished my first bottle and was without it for a couple of weeks that I realised how much it had helped calm my skin and improve its moisture levels. Now I’m a total convert and never want to be without it!
However, it is difficult to control the amount of product that is dispensed through the pipette, it leaves a somewhat shiny tacky finish, it can cause pilling under makeup and is bloody expensive in general, and especially if you live overseas – SGD156 in Singapore!!! (I took one lippie off for this reason).
A cheaper alternative (if your skin is only mildly dehydrated) would be Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Lotion, another staple of mine. I personally use both together.
