We were at the river for a long weekend and realized my husband had neglected to bring his swimsuit or any shorts. We ran up to the everything-Mart and I decided that my feet needed help and picked up this polish in “love” (a pale pink) and clear top coat. 1.97 each. Went on fine, even coats (better than Essie or opi), dried quickly. The next day I put on my keens for kayaking, expecting that the polish would wear off like it usually does. It was perfect. Fast forward two weeks- it’s still on (. It’s survived shape-up filing, barefoot garden work, running, hard bristle scrub brush with no chipping, flaking, or peeling. Today, day 17, I took it off to redo my at-home pedi. I am a potter, so I rarely paint my fingernails, but when I do, I will use this polish!

My mom bought me this color last clear top coat and a teal bottle of the polish at Walmart while I was visiting. It’s great.

My dad bought this in black because he’s been experimenting with his look and wanted to try nail polish. So I don’t know how much it cost. I assume not much though. I took it to use under some iridescent loose Micas I have from TKB Trading. I seldom bother with nail polish because it always seems to chip on me almost instantly, and if I can’t count on it looking nice for 12 hours, it’s too much trouble. But lately I have been playing around with it for whatever reason. Anyway this stuff is thick and very black. It’s so opaque that more than 1 coat would be overkill. Since it’s so thick and sets pretty fast, you have to work quickly when applying it to get an even coat. I find this a bit tricky, though I am not at all good at applying nail polish so if I can get decent results with it, most people should be able to also. Staying power/chip resistance seems well above average. And it’s nice that it leaves no stain on the nail after removal. On the whole, I recommend this product(at least in the black color).
EDIT
So I decided I wanted a lilac nail polish to layer iridescent mica over, and I bought a different cheap polish. And guess what, super duper streaky. It was so frustrating. I ended up reading online that pastel shades are almost always streaky. I ended up going to Walmart and purchasing 2 more shades of Color Last, a lovely lilac(“Impression”), and a light bright apple green(“Energy”). I paid two American dollars per bottle. Because of what I read online about pastel shades streaking, I wasn’t super optimistic. I was very pleasantly surprised. I was totally able to get a nice smooth coat with both shades. I am really delighted. Now, they aren’t quite as pigmented as the black, they do need 2 coats for full opacity. But who cares, the thickish formula keeps it from streaking, it looks great, and I am happy. And I have to say, after working with them for awhile, I’ve become quite fond of the slightly wider brush design these have. Also the shade selection though not vast, was thoughtfully chosen, there’s at least 3-4 more colors I plan to try next time. I’m giving an extra star for their pastel shades not streaking.
A HINT FOR USING THIS POLISH
I wanted to add one more thing, though this review is super long already. With this thick formula, you gotta load your brush up with a lot of polish, and apply a thick coat. It may seem like you applied too thick a coat, but when it dries it will seem like a normal thickness.

What caught my eye first was the packaging. It looks like a high end nail polish you’d find at a Macy’s. I keep it on my vanity table because of the gold top. I found mine at Dollar General. Absolutely amazing nail color for an affordable price! $2+tax and the color I bought was CNP76 Horizon. This color is a mix of blush pink and violet purple. It would look great on all skin tones. I love L.A Colors mainly because it’s a good price and looks nice.

WHAT this polish is so freaking amazing, I can’t believe that its so affordable for the high quality! I’ve bought more expensive polishes that don’t adhere to my nails and don’t last! This dries super fast and it doesn’t smudge all over my nails. The pigmentation is so good that it looks opaque with one coat! I got the color “keepsake” which is a bright coral, perfect for summer and spring

Love the long lasting quality of this nail polish. I work with my hands daily, so I tend to be rough on my nail polish. I didn’t go in with high expectations, but I’m pleased with the two colours I own. I can go a week with just minor wear on the edges of my nails and I just touch it up and add some of the LA Colors Color Last top coat and I’m good to go.
I also love the wider brushes that these polishes have. I’ve gotten use to them so when I use other polishes it takes a bit of getting use to a slimmer brush.

I LOVE L.A. Color: Color Lasts nail polish!!!! The color holds true. It stays on and doesn’t chip like your average nail polishes. And when you take it off it doesn’t leave your fingers stained. I am a true fan!!!

I bought this nail polish at Walmart for $2 because I liked some of the colors. The colors I bought are Never Ending (bright coral/ in the 1st photo I uploaded), and Family Ties (bright fuchsia, in the 2nd photo, with a white base cot and a top coat). The formula is almost jelly- like, opaque in 2 coats, and not streaky. The brush is a little wide for my small-ish nail beds, but it was fine until I got to my pinky. With Seche Vite top coat, after a day I can see some minor tip wear, so I don’t think I’ll get anywhere near the 10 day claim, but not bad for $2! I like these and will probably get more colors eventually.

The best part of these polishes is the price and a close second are the colors. It’s a bit sheer so it will take 2 semi heavy coats to get the opaque color or 3 thin coats. I only got 1 color, a shimmery light gray that looks almost metallic on the nail, it’s called “Timeless”. It’s absolutely GORGEOUS and one of my favorite colors of the tons that I have. Absolutely top 3. If you are into greys right now I highly recommended, hands down the best gray I’ve ever bought.
The formula seems nice and glides on extremely well, it’s not thick at all. My one issue which is a big issue is that the bristles on the brush are all distorted and cut at different lengths, leaving a very jagged finish near my cuticles, I was able to maneuver it with my right hand, but Being a righty I just couldn’t get the same finish with my left hand. So my right hand fingernails actually LOOK like they were done at home. To me anyways. I am a huge perfectionist, but it is a VERY hard brush to work with.
It’s also on the thick side so someone with thin nailbeds and nails may not enjoy it. I would only recommend it for the color selection and nice formula. Since it was so cheap I’ll probably buy another to see if mine just came from a bad batch. If not I will take out the brush, clean it, try to cut the bristles to line up and put it back in.

I’m a polish-aholic. I have so many nail polishes… I think it’s an actual sickness I have! When I seen these at $1.98 at Walmart, I purchased a few of them. I wish I purchased more!
I have polishes ranging from cheap to expensive. I’ve purchased OPI, China Glaze, Fingerpaints, Sinful Colors, etc… and my most expensive being an Estee Lauder polish I found at Stage that I just HAD TO HAVE. NOTHING COMPARES to this polish here!
The bottles are cute, and the brush is outstanding to me. It’s not a small brush, more of a wide brush, that I can completely put a coat on with three strokes. The formula… love the formula! The darker colors you can get away with one or two coats, depending on how much you put on, the lighter colors you might need three coats, depending. I am very hard on my nails, especially at work. Every damn polish I use, I get chips, knicks, and the wear just does not last… even when I use a good top coat (I use Seche Vite fast drying top coat).
This polish… I can go almost a week without it looking ugly and raggedy… with little wear and tear. Gives a very smooth application along with a very smooth look to the nails. They dry super fast after application. I love these polishes, and I could kick myself in the rear end for not buying more colors. I hope they make this a permanent line… because it’s the best damn polish in the world.

I agree with the previous post. I am not a huge fan of L.A Colors nail polish. They usually are just meh. But what attracted me to these polishes is the packaging! They are so cute that I couldn’t help but pick these up. I got three of them in the colors, Impression(a light lilac color.purple) , Never Ending(a neon coral), and Honor(a pacific blue color). At 1.98, these are pretty nice. The formula isn’t the usual you get from this brand. Takes two coats. The brush I’m not crazy about as it is short(not too short) and when applying the polish it can get into your cuticles sometimes. I am a nail polishholic and I always find myself comparing polishes this cheap to brands like o.p.i, essie(my favorite), orly, etc. But I gotta tell you, L.A. Colors hit it on the nail(finally) with this line of polishes. I recommend these. They have many different colors and If you are looking to find some cheap, new polishes, then this is a steal. grab em while you can.
