This is my favorite mascara! It’s been my go-to mascara for 7+ years now. It has a fine brush so if you are one who likes to add a a lot more on your lashes, this may not be the right fit for you. Does add volume!

This is a huge miss as far as mascara is concerned! It made my lashes look clumpy, and it flaked all over my face! It has a weird plastic brush that was difficult to use.

My lashes look so unnatural with this product. They look and feel stiff and short (while it is supposed to lengthen!), the black is very black which can be a positive thing, but here it only makes it worse.

This product is really great as a layering tool with another mascara. It lengthens really, really well, and makes your lashes really black without clumping them together or getting “spider lashes” or anything like that. It doesn’t really voluminize that much so it would be a great second mascara after you use your favorite voluminizing mascara. I personally use the Dior waterproof mascara in dark brown as it gives me really great volume and then I layer this one over it. I’ve been loving this result but on its own, the it lash is also really fantastic, especially for the bottom lashes, since the wand is so thin and the bristles are really small. Also I just love Dior’s packaging, its so sleek and classy. Would definitely recommend!

I love this mascara! I love the natural yet dramatic look it gives. I prefer having thin, detailed and dense lashes over clumpy voluminous ones. The only downside for me is that it might be a bit of a dry formula, but I can get over that aspect of it.

I like this mascara. I think I have been spoiled with the Bobbi Brown long wear one as it comes with such a small wand, that now I find most wands too big. This was the Dior mascara with the smallest one. The wand itself is silicone.
This mascara is super pigmented, really black. The formula does not irritate my eyes (they often get itchy with mascara but not with this one). It’s not a water-proof formula but it feels like one, it does not smudge or flake. Even with cold water it does not go away, however it is easily removed with any make up remover (even micellar water).
In terms of application, it does not really clump, but if it accidentally does, it’s easy enough to fix.

The big let down of this mascara is that it does virtually nothing for volume or length. It is quite black and for the most part, it stays on pretty well with minimal flaking as the day wears on but the effect on my lashes is wholly underwhelming. It almost appears as though I have an eyelash tint vs. a mascara on.

I LOVE this mascara!!! I even have 2 backup tubes of this!!! At first I didn’t care much for it and used it with my Givenchy couture volume to separate it afterwards. Until one day I was running late for work and only took one mascara, this one. I styled my lashes FABUOLOUSLY with just this mascara!!! From then on I just was using this Mascara until I remembered I had other ones and tossed them into rotation.
This mascara has a brush sort of like Benefit s Better then Sex mascara. It is a little wet when applied and I find that it’s one of those mascaras that work even better when the tube dries out a bit after opening it. The way I use this mascara is I put on mascara on one side, mascara the other side, then when the first side I applied it to is a bit dry I apply a 2nd coat…it works really well like this..definitely one that ll be in my makeup bag for life!!!!!

Functional, but disappointing. It’s very black and doesn’t smudge, but it doesn’t add length and doesn’t build much volume. It doesn’t completely dry for a while, so lashes clump together if you apply liner afterwards and are hard to separate. There isn’t enough to justify the price and there are much better, cheaper products available. If you live in Canada or can access Quo Cosmetics (at Shoppers Drug Mart), “The Bold, the Curved, the Sultry” mascara is phenomenal and $12. It’s what I hoped It-Lash would be.
