   Intro – I have this in the shade Fair Medium. I am nc20 fair neutral. a beginner with no history of contouring whastoever

   shade- i can use this as a contour / bronzer. it is cool toned but not grey. it has a tiny bit of warmth to it on my skin. I pull warmth out of everything so for me to find a true cool tone is hard. this gives me a nice shadow without looking obvious i contoured.

   application- i do not use foundation and this just blends into my skin and looks really natural. its a liquid contour and it just melts and becomes one with your skin.

   wear and tear – wears beautifully throughout the day and lasts longer than a traditional powder bronzer, never patchy and fades gracefully.

   packaging – this is the part where this product gets the most hate. I dont know how long it will last me but it doesnt seem to have much in the tube. i had to squeeze it until its flat to get product out. I assume its because its a liquid formula so its harder to push out? i could be totally wrong but i am just justifying it because i spend about 38 dollars on it and hope it lasts me awhile . i will check back on this and update when i do pan it. some people take off the sponge and it saves them some products. I myself dont mind it because i do actually like the spongetip.

   will i repurchase? yes, i love it because its so natural and seamless. Its literally fool proof and you cant mess it up. it blends so well but it doesnt dissapear. some products blend itself away but not this. i recommend this to any beginners like me or if you have a fat wallet and needed a new contour product.

   edit- I no longer like the look of contour and this runs out way too fast. I wont be repurchasing

   i chose the lightest shade of this and it is actually a perfect tone for my fair/light skin. I really like the way it blends into my skin and I can pinpoint exactly where I want it and I know it’s virtually fool proof in that sense, so there’s little chance if it going horribly wrong when I’m getting ready in the morning. However, the downside for this product is the packaging. The contour is very ‘wet’ ( which it needs to be really) but it comes out of a small rounded sponge tip. You can turn the liquid ‘off’ so it doesn’t go into the sponge, which you need to always remember to do when you finish using it. I sometimes don’t switch it on because I find the sponge tip us wet enough from my previous use. However, it’s not hygienic at all, it’s messy, where the whole wand area gets covered in the product so it goes all over your fingers when you turn it on or off. There is also not a lot of product really, for the price tag, so it runs out quickly. I’m not sure how else this could work, as the tip is an excellent tool for applying this product, but in reality this whole concept is a bit flawed.

   Humn… I am completely on the fence with this product. As well as clearly in the minority, as I have never seen a negative or even “meh” review. Which is why I jumped headlong into trying this, without a thought that it might not work for me.

   Lemmie start with the good… This is one of the easiest – if not the SINGLE easiest contouring product I have ever use. Application is a snap and nearly mistake proof, and it blends out and in like a dream. While those are only two positives, they hold major weight as far as highlighters go. It is rare to find a contour which practically blends itself in a snap.

   Now for the bad… This is $38.00 for 0.40 oz – in theory. In reality, the moment of first initial squeeze the user will notice the tube feels like its got more air in it than actual product. So while 0.40 oz is already a miniscule amount at this price point, it’s ridiculous when you note its likely even less. I cannot imagine how long (or not) this will last with daily use – a month perhaps? From first squeeze, I was all “yo, I just got played by Charlotte T!”. Another issue is the actual applicator: While it works well for “drawing the line” on, the buck stops there – when I wipe it (post application), there is a TON of product left which ends up going to waste. This is not cool. Additionally, given that it’s a sponge tip, its gotta be cleaned for sanitary reasons as well as to thwart clogging. I am betting if this isn’t used too often the sponge tip will end up clogged at some point and the whole thing will be rendered useless/stop working. Oh and you have to be diligent in remembering to twist it shut after use. These are all a lot of additional steps I am just not feeling. Last but not least: color selection. There are only two shades here, and despite what CT as a co may think, there’s just no way to make two shades which universally cover all the skin shades out there. Case in point: I am NC35, so I went for Med/Dark – its quite muddy on me, leaning grey/army green. I actually have to use it under foundation, which is ridiculous. As for the other available shade of Fair/Med, that would blend into my skintone and disappear with the wind.

   While I’d love to give this more stars, I just can’t. There is a size/amount vs. price issue, and certainly a shade range/inclusivity problem here.
