sisley calls this a “finishing veil” so i categorized this as a pressed powder (think like a cream-to-powder texture).
this is a product that will make you wonder where it’s been all your life. i decided to try this after a brief description from a really good and knowledgeable sisley rep. basically what this does is it “finishes” your makeup and “blurs” hard lines. it seemed a little odd but worthwhile to bring my makeup to the next level. i am never looking to be cutting edge, i just need my face to look good.
i like to dab this all over a finished face (foundation/powder/bronzer/blush/highlighter if i’m using it) but some online reviews will apply it mid-routine. either way is probably fine.
yes the price is steep but one compact should easily last a year and maybe even longer. and the results are more than worth it. your makeup will not only be “perfected” but it will last through hot and humid days looking the same as when you applied it! (and i can attest to this from personal experience.)
