Purchased these after seeing the mini size in the checkout area (20 pads for $7, hellllo!) I figured I didn’t have much to lose. These are gentle enough to use on my oily/combination skin at nighttime. They don’t leave my skin feeling overly dry or tight as long as I moisturize lightly afterwards. I’ve used these for a week-ish and my skin just has a nice glow to it in places besides my usual suspects (chin, nose, forehead) but not a greasy/oily glow (thanks to the glycolic acid). My pores and sebaceous filaments/oxidized sebum spots are a bit less noticeable. I’ll wait to see how my skin responds after more than just a week, but so far I am pleasantly surprised with the results! Price is fair for the amount and quality. There’s no scent that I can detect.

Love this. I’ve never actually tried the glow tonic on its own but I do find that these pads are convenient. I like it a lot.

Really like this product, my skin is usually very flakey and pimply but using these pads has reduced both symptoms. It’s amazing before foundation, which usually peels on me regardless of brand, primer, sprays, skincare etc. I’ve tried lots of the active ingredients for combatting acne, including medication, but this has made the biggest difference in my skin out of anything I’ve ever tried. I sometimes leave it on for 15 mins or so and haven’t had any adverse effects.

Love these. Love them. I have suffered intermittently from perioral dermatitis for the last 8 years. Glycolic acid seems to send it on the run. It’s been 48 hours of using these once a day, and my chin is clear. A month’s supply will run you $25 Canadian (twice as much as Nip and Fab’s pads but half as much as the Dennis Gross offering) but it really is worth it.

These are FANTASTIC. My skin becomes a mess in fall/winter, with random breakouts that leave red marks and my regular acne arsenal cant control. On a whim, I picked these guys up. My skin loves glycolic acid, but for some reason my alpha skincare 10% lotion wasn’t working anymore so I decided to try these babies instead. I was hooked after the first few uses! They make my skin so soft. They brought some closed cc that I had been battling for several weeks to a head finally. I have been using for a month and a half and my breakouts have completely stopped. I use them daily, at night after washing my face. I leave them on for 5 min then wash off. There was some tingling the first couple weeks I used them, but it’s gone away now and I barely feel anything At all now. I am extremely happy with this purchase and will certainly rebuy over and over.
Update: April 2018 – happy to say I am still so pleased with this product. I am still using once every few days alongside my cosrx snail mucin, klairs toner, and cosrx oil free lotion and my skin couldn’t be happier. I will certainly keep rebuying, especially around fall when my skin starts acting up.

These are MAGIC. After using consistently for a few weeks I can tell a huge difference in my skin. Pores look smaller and the overall texture is so much better. Even at the end of a 12 hour day with makeup my skin feels great. I did think they seemed dry when I opened them, but there is plenty of product once I used them, enough to do my hands as well. I alternate using these with the Pixi Overnight Glow Serum. I will definitely repurchase!

Love these! I’ve used these for the past several months, and they are a regular in my skincare rotation. Used consistently, they keep my skin looking really good- even, clear, exfoliated. I don’t use them as per the package directions- the directions state to wash off after a few minutes. I wash my face, tone with these pads, then spray my face with a hydrating mist and keep going with the rest of the products I layer on. I found that when I used these daily for about a two week period, my skin was in great shape, especially when it came to hormonal breakouts. As per my other reviews with the Pixi Skin Treat line, the key to using these products is to do so consistently over time, as they’re gentle and they seem to work best cumulatively. I have already repurchased these once and will continue to do so.

I definitely like this product. It works well. It doesn’t cause peeling of the skin but it does work nicely. I definitely feel a tingle after using the product. Compared to other peel pads on the market this one is a great value. I do wish the pads were more saturated with product. They aren’t bone dry but they aren’t as saturated as I would of liked. I only use them at night so a tub will last me 2 months which at the price of 24 dollars makes it worth it.

my skin: very pale, oily, dehydrated, acne-prone, lots of hyperpigmentation
I absolutely love these pads. I used to use the dr. dennis gross peeling pads but they’re so pricey and I just couldn’t afford to buy those anymore, so I decided to try this out as my replacement, and I’m so glad I did.
When I first opened it, the pads seemed to be just a little on the dry side and I was worried they’d all dry out really quickly, but I’m halfway through the pads now and they’re just as moist as when I first got them.
When swiping the pad over clean skin (before bed), I do notice a little bit of a stinging sensation on spots of acne or healing scabs, but it doesn’t bother me and it goes away after a few minutes. Then I rinse it off and go about the rest of my nightly routine. In the morning, my skin is noticeably brighter, smoother, pores are smaller, and the peel seems to speed up the healing process of acne/fresh scarring. It also doesn’t dry out my skin like some other peels do, probably because of the rose water.
Anywho, I love this stuff! I let my mom borrow it one night (who struggles with large pores, wrinkles, and age spots) and the next morning she said it was “magic”.

I really didn’t want to like these as much as I do, because they are quite pricey for a drugstore product. But they are so good, guys. And I guess when you consider there are 60 in each package, it’s not that bad.
I have sensitive skin and I have mild eczema that only flares up once in a while. It has not irritated my skin at all. I am combination with major oiliness in my t-zone, and closed comedones on my cheeks.
These pads have cleared up about 50% of my closed comedones after a few weeks of use. My fine lines are softened, especially on my forehead. My pores have shrunk too and my skin has more of a healthy radiance. I’ve found that even though I still get a little bit of acne (the red, inflamed kind), it goes away much quicker while using these pads. I’ve also noticed that I am less oily in my t-zone and less dry everywhere else. It has really balanced out my skin.
This product tingles when you put it on, but not in a painful way (I find salicylic acid more painful to use than this product). It just feels warm and tingly. I kind of like it! And the tingling sensation is less intense each time I use it. I think your skin eventually just adjusts to the glycolic acid.
It rinses off nicely without residue, and smells really nice.
I also use Pixi Glow Tonic as a toner and highly recommend using these two together. I use the tonic after cleansing but before moisturizing. However when I use the pads between cleansing & moisturizing I usually skip the tonic.
I am so glad Pixi is finally in Canada! My only complaint is that these are so hard to track down because they sell out so fast. It took me about 4 trips to Shoppers Drug Mart to finally find these.
Update: it’s been about a month and a half now of using these pads and my closed comedones are around 75% cleared up, and my acne scars are fading too. Very pleased!

I’ve been using 10-15% glycolic acid toners and serums nightly, for over a year now and was looking for something a bit stronger to help with a few stubborn hyperpigmented spots. Based on the ingredients and the pH, I thought this would be the perfect product. Color me disappointed. I opened the jar, which was shrink-wrapped in plastic and had a safety seal over opening, the pads were practically bone dry. They have very little product on them, and I find myself rubbing them onto my skin way more aggressively than I’d like, especially with an acid product. I promised myself I’d use every single pad to give them a fair shake, because I thought that with 20% glycolic acid, maybe they don’t need to be as saturated in solution as I’m used to in toner pads. But they have made no difference in my skin. I don’t know if I got a bad batch or if the Glow Peel Pads are made to be on the dry side (…why though?), but I won’t be repurchasing.
