This is the standard balm to milky wash off cleanser. Its quite liquid and removes make up well. I still need a second cleanser to get myself clean however it washes off easily and without fuss. Whilst I enjoyed this, it really isn’t worth the price. There is a No 7 cleanser that is basically the same which has been a staple for many years and does just as a good job. Pls try before you buy. If you are very dry you may not need a second cleanser, so can benefit from some of the so called skincare benefits but I’m normal combo.

I only used this cleanser once, but that was enough to flare my Rosacea so that my skin burned for 3 days.

Just bought my second tube. I guess that says it all. Lovely, lovely cleanser. And no skin problems with this cleanser! No clogged pores, bumps or dry, flaky skin, nothing. Only cannot-stop-touching-my-face-very-soft, clean skin. The cleanser melts into your skin and while massaging it in it turns into an oil. Then I start massaging with wet hands, and remove the than milky substance with a flannel/cloth. My skin feels supersoft after cleansing and is indeed very clean. I use it to take of my make-up. But not for eye make-up, I personally prefer to use a separate cleanser for that, since I have very sensitive eyes, and I wear contacts.
The tube will last you forever, I think I used my previous tube for at least 6 months, and used it twice a day. Also I only buy it when there is a discount on Chanel 😉 I pay around €63,– which is still steep, but good value for money.

This is just pure joy in a tube, I literally smile while i am using it. The gel turns into an oil pretty fast and removes the makeup in a very short time. It smells like the “sublimage line”, which i like. I don’t use the cloth that comes with it, i always use a flannel with cleansing balms and oils. Yes it’s expensive for a cleanser but if you can afford, it’s so worth it…

This cleanser is a gel-to-oil formula. It comes out of the tube as a clear gel turns into an oil when you massage it in to your face (you apply it on a dry face). It takes off all of my makeup really well and leaves my face feeling very clean after rinsing, not dry, not oily. I like it better than any other cleanser (cream, gel, foam, oil, etc.) I’ve ever tried. It smells like roses. It is moderately fragranced though, and I know that fragrance irritates some people’s skin so beware if you are sensitive to fragrance. It comes with a muslin cleansing cloth, however I do NOT like the cloth, I find it irritating to my skin. I do NOT use the cloth or any other cloth or brush, I just use my fingers.
It is absurdly priced at $95. I debated a long time before deciding to buy it because I didn’t think a cleanser could possibly be worth $95. It may not be worth $95 to everyone, but I love it.
