Looking for something to add appearance as well as light hold to my pixie cut. However I have brief straight hair and so this didn’t truly do a lot for me. Really did not weigh my hair down. Excellent packaging (pump spray) as well as nice faint fragrance though. YMMV.

I utilized this off and on. I just began utilizing it again. It does moist hair out like B&B Salt Spray. It includes appearance and also some hold. I mixed it with the Kerastase Potion for volume. I like the result it has. This is past fairly valued. Yes, I would buy once again.

Lastly, a more budget friendly variation of Bumble and Bumble’s browse spray! For the ‘pros’ side of the list, I locate Verb’s to be saltier and also has more hold (more hairspray-like), as well as a far better odor. For the ‘disadvantages’, because it is saltier, I discover it to be drier and also grittier than B&B’s. It depends on what you’re seeking in a salt spray, and additionally on your hair type! I have actually obtained thick, straight hair that is prone to an oily scalp and frizziness as a result of humidity, but I do not deal with dry ends so a salt spray with more toughness is right up my alley.
It’s obtained a very typical salt water spray scent, not daisies and roses and sunlight, yet it is mild and also unobjectionable, and also vanishes really swiftly to make sure that’s great!
I spray it right into my hair when its wet, and likewise when its completely dry before pinning my hair right into a bun. It truly assists my thick as well as straight hair hold a charming wave, as well as includes volume and also grit without evaluating it down.
I gave it a 4 even if that’s just me being extremely critical as it’s not rather up there to be HG for me. Bumble and also Bumble’s is simply a little much more insubstantial than this, which is why it’s still my primary, yet Verb’s is far more affordable as well as simpler to obtain.
I’ve likewise tried Ouai’s wave spray (awful as well as stinky), Lush, and a few pharmacy brands that I can’t bear in mind, and this has got to be one my preferred up until now. Will absolutely repurchase the complete dimension when this is done!

Looking for something to add texture and light hold to my pixie cut. Unfortunately I have short straight hair and so this didn’t really do much for me. Didn’t weigh my hair down. Good packaging (pump spray) and nice faint scent though. YMMV.

I used this off and on. I just started using it again. It does not dry hair out like B&B Salt Spray. It adds texture and some hold. I mixed it with the Kerastase Elixir for volume. I like the effect it has. This is beyond reasonably priced. Yes, I would purchase again.

Finally, a more affordable version of Bumble and Bumble’s surf spray! For the ‘pros’ side of the list, I find Verb’s to be saltier and has more hold (more hairspray-like), and a better smell. For the ‘cons’, because it is saltier, I find it to be drier and grittier than B&B’s. It depends on what you’re looking for in a salt spray, and also on your hair type! I’ve got thick, straight hair that is prone to an oily scalp and frizziness due to humidity, but I don’t suffer from dry ends so a salt spray with more strength is right up my alley.
It’s got a very typical salt water spray smell, not daisies and roses and sunshine, but it is mild and inoffensive, and disappears very quickly so that’s great!
I spray it into my hair when its damp, and also when its dry before pinning my hair into a bun. It really helps my thick and straight hair hold a lovely wave, and adds volume and grit without weighing it down.
I gave it a 4 just because that’s just me being super critical as it’s not quite up there to be HG for me. Bumble and Bumble’s is just a tad more weightless than this, which is why it’s still my number one, but Verb’s is much more affordable and easier to get a hold of.
I’ve also tried Ouai’s wave spray (awful and smelly), Lush, and a few drugstore brands that I can’t remember, and this has got to be one my favourite so far. Will definitely repurchase the full size once this is done!

This is the best wave spray I’ve tried! It is water based and not very moisturizing (warning). But because of this it is really lightweight and gets the job done without weighing down your hair. It doesn’t provide much in terms of thickening your hair, but it definitely adds texture and a slight wave to your hair without doing anything else that might compromise your hair, which I love. I also love the scent, your typical fresh sea scent.

I love this product! I purchased it on a whim while I was in Sephora. I sprayed a bit on my (dry) hair in store and noticed that it gave a nice texture to my ends. It separated and defined my waves without making my hair crunchy or tangled.
I now use this every time I wear my hair natural. I let my hair air dry for about an hour while I eat breakfast and do my makeup. Once my hair is somewhat dry, I’ll spray this all over (probably 4 or 5 sprays total). I’ll flip my hair around and shake out any ringlets that may have formed (my hair is mostly wavy, with some straight areas and some tighter curls). I’m left with soft, beachy waves and wonderful texture and volume.
I’m not sure that this will work on straight/untextured hair. This doesn’t add much wave to my already wavy hair, it mostly just defines and separates. But overall, I would highly recommend this for anyone who is searching for a sea salt spray that won’t feel crunchy. I love how soft this leaves my hair and I will definitely be repurchasing once I run out.

For travel I was looking for a mini hair mousse but could find no such thing, so AG Hair Sea Spray was suggested as an alternative as it came in a 50 ml/1.8 fluid ounce plastic spray bottle. Now there’s no looking back and I’ll be buying the full size for everyday use at home.
My hair is medium-short (to jaw line), fine, and randomly and mildly wavy. It just LOVES this product. I spray all over wet hair and comb through before blow-drying my hair very imprecisely – head upside down and drying with no brush or discernible method! Then I use it on my dry hair as a setting spray and to subtly wave it just a little more. The result is better than achieved with a mousse and it’s brilliant for resurrecting hair when there’s no time for a shampoo.
On top of all the other positive attributes, it also has a pleasant and subtle scent.

This sea spray is amazing. As in, get this if you want sexy beach hair because you will not be dissapointed. I love this product so much <3
First up, I'm a lazy mo-fo when it comes to tresses. I have naturally wavy/few curls hair and it does not like to behave. Blow drying, straightening, pretty much all hair products, everything lets me down and laughs at me and my uncontrollable hair *cries*. lol.
However, this sea spray was really wonderful to my waves. I don't blow dry my hair, just spray this lightly on and gently scrunch the ends, and after my hair has dried....WHAM, hello tossled beach hair. It looks bloody amazing.
Now I imagine if you have dead straight hair this product may not work as well as it does for wavy/curly haired girls. I mean its a fantastic product, but I don't think it can perform miracles if your hair is dead straight. Just a heads up on that one.
The price was a little more expensive than I would have liked, but I bought it because it has no salt in it. Also it seems to last forever, I have a lot in my bottle still and you don't need to use a lot. As in 3-4 sprays will suffice. The smell is nice, and the packaging is just average in its plastic spray bottle. But hey, for me its all about the product.
My HG product for beach hair (along with beach bomb by AG). Totally will recommend this one <3

This product is incredible. It is new (since march 2016 I believe, correct me if I’m wrong) and therefore doesn’t have a lot of reviews online… in fact, I couldn’t find any !! I wanted to find a product that would help to enhance my natural waves and this works like a charm. Unlike all the other sea salt sprays out there, this one DOES NOT HAVE SALT. Therefore, it doesn’t dry your hair ! My hair is actually very shiny and soft after using this and my waves are beautiful. The smell is devine also.. too me, it smells like roses. Very delicate roses. It’s calming,… I apply it on damp hair after my shower. Before using this, I use the AG detangling spray and their Fast food leave in conditionner. I then comb my hair and apply this product generously. Unlike other sea salt companies suggests to do, I don’t “scrunch” my hair. Instead, I twist it and then let it air dry. What I love about this, is that I don’t need to wear hairspray after this and my hair is manageable. When I woke up the next morning after using this, my hair was intact. I used a little bit of this spray on my dry hair to accentuate it (and to add the smell) and VOILA. Off I go to work 🙂
I Can’t get enough of this product !! LOVE LOVE LOVE <3

Best sea spray I have used so far. It gives my fine hair volume and help my waves without feeling crunchy of sticky. I wish it cost less but it did also last me several months. I would recommend this and would definitely by again.

I have wavy hair naturally and living in a humid climate, I thought I wouldn’t need a Sea Spray but actually it turned out to be such a nice little product.
For starters it is not as sticky, as some other texturizing sprays. You should be applying it in a certain way (you can read more about my techinque on my site partyparrotblog.com) so that it doesn’t stick your hair together in one greasy mess.
I wouldn’t say that this product works as your classic hairspray, but it does hold a bit of frizz to a certain extent and it smells nice. Perfect for carefree, beach days when you don’t want to look like a ball of clumpy hair and just want to add a bit of oomph to your look.

Amazing!!! I will never be w/o for my 3A naturally curly hair. It is $$$ at ~$13 & some change for a very small bottle. My previous sea salt spray experience hadn’t impressed me (I tried Not Your Mothers brand so I was convinced it was not for me. LUSH is a x1000 better!). It smells gr8 & gives my curls the oomph they were previously lacking, w shine/bounce. I don’t know what the magic ingredient must be (salt?!) but it’s magic in a bottle along w/ Curly Wurly or really any of their shampoos/condish. I have a Mason Pearson brush & 2 M/P combs on order so I’m expecting some hella good hair days in the near future! I don’t really care to wash my hair more than 2x a week so the less product the less oily & this will revive dull lifeless hair into noodles that are curls & beachy waves. I will alway rebuy. I may buy 2 bottles next time so I don’t run out! A must-have!!!!

I have extremely fine/thin hair (type 2a, wavy hair!), so, too much product = zero volume.
I like this. If I wash my hair as per usual, and spray this into my hair when damp + dry, it makes my hair wavier/curlier! it is expensive though, and much product is required.
My method for more curls, including this product:
1: schampoo+condition as usual
2: Get out of shower and scrunch ALOT
3: plunking my hair with a long-sleeve shirt for more volume and waves.
4: when damp, apply seaspray
5: When dry, apply seaspray if needed.
Done!

I purchased this product in the hope that it would tame my curly/wavy/frizzy hair. It did do this which is great however I did find downfalls with it. I have to say that I generally straighten my hair but sometimes I just can’t be bothered with the effort that takes to wanted this product to use on the days that I can’t be bothered.
I would wash my hair and then towel dry it and get as much water out of it as possible, i would then spray this product into my hair and leave my hair to air dry (mainly over night). When I wake up my hair is generally tamed and is curly. I do find that I have to use other products to tame my baby hairs when I tie my hair up. So the product did what I wanted it to do.
However, the packaging is not great, the bottle itself is great, not to big and not to small and is easy to hold, but the spray in the bottle is awful. Instead of spraying it just squirts out in one line so does not spray over your hair. Im not sure if this is due to the design on the bottle or the bottle being blocked (although I have washed the spray part out and it works with water). Therefore to use this product I used to spray it into my hands and then scrunch it through my hair but not I pour a small amount into a different spray bottle and use this that way.
The main complaint that I have with the product is the smell. On the bottle is says about smelling of fruits etc but mine doesn’t, and smells like savelon cream. (If any knows that this cream smells like you will know its not a smell you want for your hair). I almost stopped using this product due to the smell and feel that it does leave the smell in your hair until you wash it again. I have got round this be using other products on my hair at the same time to counter act the smell.
Overall I like this product for what it does to my hair but the smell has out me off repurchasing it again.
I have a video review of this product which you can watch here.

I just tried this spray and I love love love it!!! I used this with the Lush Curly Wurly shampoo and I love them both. I find normally when I apply curl creams, sprays or mousse and air dry my hair, it usually gets frizzy and I end up with mediocre waves that are flat by the next day. Normally my hair feels dirty because theirs so much product. With this though I’m surprised that I don’t have any frizz and the spray is so light, it doesn’t feel dirty. It also smells really nice. Will definitely buy again, just wish they had bigger bottles.

I really like this product. The smell is different in the bottle than after it’s used. In the bottle it has a more intense smell, but once it’s on my hair it is light, floral, sweet, and slightly powdery. I love it. I’ve tried this on my hair both dry and wet, and I have to say that I prefer using it on my hair wet. I defines my natural waves (my hair is quite long and fine) beautifully and when it dries it doesn’t give me that weird, gelled look a lot of products for waves or curls give. The result on my dry hair is similar, but using it while it’s wet defines my waves better. I haven’t experienced it making my hair look or feel greasy or heavy. It does require a couple sprays during the day for upkeep, but I don’t mind at all because of the smell. 🙂
The only thing I really do not like about this product is how it functions in its packaging. With the seaweed extract in the spray, it seems to build up inside the spray tube and nozzle and pressure accumulates. I can get about three sprays before nothing else will come out, and the spray is more like a jet than a mist. I tried cleaning out the nozzle but to no avail. I used a spray cap from another product to finish my hair today, but the fact that I have to do that is really disappointing. Lush should make the tube and nozzle bigger somehow to avoid it gunking up so easily.
Despite the packaging, I still love this product and would absolutely buy it again. It works very well on my hair and doesn’t make it feel dry and gross. Definitely worth the $12.95 for a kind of small bottle for what it does for my hair! 🙂

I use this spray to tame my baby hairs because I have fine, thin and natural curls at the lower part of my hair. And I almost always tie my hair into a sleek ponytail. When I sprayed it on my curls, I suddenly had big, wavy curls and everyone kept asking if it was digi permed. Then I started wearing my hair down on weekends or even after the workday when I unwind with friends. This sea salt spray is what I have been looking for. No dryness, no flaking and hair stays kempt but flexible still. Problem is, it always runs out in their stores. Next time I see one, I might just get at least 3 bottles to be sure.

I really love this sea salt spray. It’s def the nicest one I’ve used. I also love Marc Anthony’s version but I am obsessed with lush lol I just hateeeee the price because you don’t really get much and I wanted to use it everyday but I knew I wouldn’t be able to justify buying this so much for what it costs. (I think it’s 12 or $13 for almost a smaller size than the small shampoo bottles) you don’t need very much of this which is nice, and I felt as if I could reapply throughout the day without it getting to funky, though it does have gel in it so you can still overdo it.
