A perfect shimmery coral color. Awesome on my cool-toned skin. Lasting formula, stays beautiful without chipping.

Go With The Lava Flow is my current obsession. It is a gorgeous shade of shimmery red-orange polish with a pink undertone which somehow manages to make the colour look simultaneously bright and soft. It is very flattering against my NC15 skin and believe it would suit a large variety of skin tones, particularly deeper skintones than my own. The formula is nice also, it applies easily and doesn’t leave streaks or bald patches. With two coats there is very minor visible-nail-line, it is definitely passable and looks opaque except from when up close. Three coats will be needed for full opacity. It dries quickly and to a shiny finish and wears well – 5 days when paired with base and top coat. This is a great colour and would look good all year round. It also makes a great pedi.

I will buy more OPIs. As others have said, its from the spring Hawaii collection, but, hey, who could be bothered with season rules?
The colour is a pretty bright orange/coral red, its got a gold shimmer through it and i can see the pink undertones. It is the fire of molten rock to me. I like the colour, I like warm tones and will happily wear all colours because i love them all.
Formula was great, a little bit of visible nail line in two coats, but who’s going to be holding your nail to their eyeball and staring at your hands? It was very easy to apply, didn’t run, nice thin formula, easy to manipulate into a professional looking finish, no streaking. Love the formula.
Definitely a polish that I’ll be keeping and enjoying for many years to come.

My bottle of OPI’s Go With the Lava Flow is exactly as pictured. It’s a warm orange leaning toward a warm red. I do not see a pink undertone at all. It’s a bright, lively shimmer color, great for summer as well as Fall earth tones. This is not a true metallic, it has no “sparkles”, just an attractive shimmer.
The polish goes on easily, self levels, has great opacity. Two coats cover well and a top coat of Seche Vite enhances the glossy look. Shimmer polishes usually last, this is no exception. A week with no chipping!

Go with the Lava Flow is from OPI Spring/Summer 2015 Hawaii Collection. It’s a pink/orange shimmery polish. The shimmer looks more prominent in the bottle than on the nail.
The formula is very good. The first coat looks quite sheer, but a slightly thicker, 2nd coat will give you perfect opacity. The longevity of this polish is very good too.
I was intrigued by this polish in the bottle, but didn’t like it on the nail. The colour was too pale for my skin tone. It needed more oomph for me. Also the shimmer is not as flattering as I thought it would be. In certain light it looked like a dated frost polish. For the first time ever I wanted my polish to chip so I could take it off.
If you like the colour/finish of this polish, give it a go – the formula is very good. But, it is not for me. I don’t think I will ever wear it again and therefore wouldn’t repurchase.
