This isn’t a soap I’m crazy about, but it objectively has great things going for it.
It is possibly the least drying of all lush soaps. Melts and applies easily, except for the honeycomb bit on the top. The honeycomb bit is very rough, to the point I can’t run this soap along the skin because it scratches quite hard. The abrasive bit is the tiny chicken wire webbing, it’s encased in dark glycerin soap which feels nice and smells like honey, but I have to take the whole layer off because of the “webbing”. I’ve read somewhere, maybe here even, that some people use the top layer as a foot scrub.
The rest of it is mild, creamy, and smells very sweet, like caramel treacle. It’s a strong scent, to my nose, and in the sickly sweet territory for me. That and the abrasive honeycomb are the only problems for me with this soap, and the only reason I won’t repurchase.
I would recommend this to people who enjoy sweet scents and want a non-drying soap.
If you would prefer a less sweet scent, sultana of soaps is also gentle, and has a scent that is also warm and comforting, but in a clean, creamy way, and a little milder. (The top layer also isn’t as rough) HWIK is probably a tad bit more nourishing, but sultana has performed just well on my very dry skin even in winter.

I wish I would love this product. In general, I love that there is no additional packaging when buying Lush’s soaps and this soap please particularly lovely – a very neutral, sweet scent that is not in any way overpowering.
The reason my overall rating is only 2 lippies, is therefore not due to packaging, price or scent, but due to the fact that whenever I use this bar of soap, my skin gets dried out – especially in my armpits.

Oh if you love sweet smelling, soft skin which makes you want to breathe deeply as you walk in the spring air with a mild warm wind blowing, then try this. I was hooked! It was a gift from my daughter-first Lush product ever and I was sold. The toffee/honey smell is soft but captures your attention. It’s a softer soap so be sure to keep it stored in a tin. The soap has 2 parts as the top portion is a honeycomb which is rougher but does fall off. The last bar I had had an unusually thin section of honeycomb and immediately fell off during my initial wash which was disappointing. Honey is a wonderful, natural healer so if I have a breakout, I use the honeycomb side which has always healed my skin, surprisingly quickly too.
It doesn’t lather up much so if you aren’t used to natural products, be forewarned. It doesn’t mean it’s not a great product, because it is definitely that. There is a product of the same name which is a liquid body wash which is wonderful also and a hair bar for washing or conditioning your hair which wasn’t my favourite item but smells divine. Keep it stored in a tightly covered soap container to make it last as it’s a softer soap. I highly recommend it.

Ok if you like your gourmand scents then you will LOVE this. It’s very sweet – brown sugar meets caramel and honey. It can be tempting to take a bite out of the bar sometimes and god knows how I’ve managed to restrain myself so far!
There are a couple of negatives: The honeycomb bit on the top of the soap bar is too rough for me, even if I try and use it in place of an exfoliating mitt, I just don’t like the texture at all. It also doesn’t lather up very well, but then again it is very natural so it’s a case of give and take I suppose.
Lots of nourishing oils and good stuff in here which is probably why it’s one of the most moisturizing bars of soap I’ve ever used, none of that ‘stripped’ feeling that my skin’s used to feeling after washing. Slightly pricey, but for something that smells this good, I honestly don’t mind paying that bit extra.

I love this soap and I have repurchased many times for myself and for friends. The smell is gourmand, like a toffee and caramel, perfect for a cozy winter pre-soak shower. It isn’t particularly drying, but not particularly moisturizing, either. I use the harsh glycerine honeycomb top as a scrub for my feet and underarms. It gets used up pretty quickly, imo, so this is just a luxury splurge for me, just a little pick me up aromatherapy treat.

Oh my GOSH, this is the best thing I have ever smelled. I got stuck on the HIWTK scent after I purchased my first shampoo bar, Honey I Washed My Hair. The scent is so delicious and soothing – smells like honey, vanilla caramel, brown sugar and toffee. This soap is kind of a splurge but I had to treat myself to one because I was honestly using the shampoo bar on my body which is not the cheapest way to go. HIWTK soap is 30 something bucks a pound so my little chunk of soap that looks like it’ll last maybe a month was almost 12 bucks. Again, I love the scent and can’t stop reaching my forearm up to my nose to smell myself after my bath – but as other reviewers have mentioned, not a fan of the honey comb top. It looks adorable but feels really scratchy on the skin. Can’t wait till it falls off! The other issue is the soap does not foam up as much as I would like. I feel like I have to really work (rub and wet, rub and wet) to get a lather (this is where the shampoo bar has an advantage; it lathers like a champ!). I wish to heck they had a body wash that actually had the HIWTK scent – It’s Raining Men shower gel is supposed to be like this but the scent is just OFF. These drawbacks aside I am so obsessed with the soap I would buy it again.

I absolutely adore this scent. To me it smells of a mixture of honey, honeycomb and toffee. The scent is very strong and lasts in the air and on the skin for a long time – your bathroom will definitely smell sweet if you have this soap on your skin or in your shower! The soap lathers easily and creates a creamy lather. However, while the soap does not dry out the skin it is also not one of Lush’s most hydrating soap options so you will need to use a lotion if you are prone to dry hands. The soap looks adorable – caramel colour with a dark tofee ‘honeycomb’ on the top of it. This honeycomb decoration is prone to separating from the body of the soap however, and isn’t too nice to use alone in my opinion. This is the only negative aspect of the soap, and to me is minor enough not to impact on my overall opinion of the soap. Honestly, this is one of my favourite of Lush’s soap offerings and really does live up to the hype.

I wanted to love this soap because it smells so good!! I practically wanted to eat the stuff because its so food like.
I used it as hand soap after trying it in the shower and finding it too drying on my legs and arms. It dries my hands out something awful and leaves this weird residue in my sink that’s so hard to clean off. The beeswax that’s on top might be to blame, and I ended up having to scrape it off because the edges are scratchy and it doesn’t melt, so the soap ends up being awkwardly shaped.

I wanted to try something from Lush other than my usual shower gel so decided to try out the soap bars.
At first I thought the chunks were priced up quite expensive but then thought maybe the ingredients are of good quality and the idea of attractive pieces of mixed ingredients to cleanse and scrub look inviting. I have tried ‘honey I shrunk the kids’ and ‘Bohemia’ soaps and can honestly say I was happy to use them due to how long they lasted, the delightful aroma they left and the lather quality; especially the honey one. The bath bombs I found a bit grainy and messy but nice to scent and soften bath water. I tried one of the lipsticks but I wasnt impressed at all by the price, the packaging or the texture and quality on the skin. Overall I really like the idea of Lush and wish I had tried their range of cosmetics years ago. I also didnt realise they supplied to the bodyshop, who I also like. I think Lush is fun and trendy because of the fresh new ideas they introduce and a kind thinking company because they do not test on animals. I love walking past Lush like a flower shop!

An unforgettable LUSH product… Lush was in the market before but then they pulled out of the market and the online option is not available for our country – you need to buy it trough EU page but there are high custom duties and high courier fees since we’re out of the EU – so I cannot buy it again, sadly. If I could, I surely would buy again. Their prices were really high so it might be the reason why they didn’t make it here. Anyway, lets get back to the product. It smells amazing and cleans well like a regular soap does. Wish to have Lush here, again. This is the only one product that I really miss… 🙁
