I started buying Jeju volcanic ash facial mask about a month ago and absolutely love it. It make’s my skin so soft and tones my wrinkles down. I leave it on for 20 minutes with no problems. When i take it off my face i put it on my hands for 5 minutes and rub it in, my hands now look 30 years younger. My husband commented on how much younger i had been looking and that felt great. I am very satisfied and will continue to buy this product for as long as i can.

I just tried this mask for the first time and I am so dissatisfied…I am not allergic to many things at all and I actually had a bad reaction to this mask…I only kept it on for 20 minutes and took it off and my face was completely red and felt like it was burning…I even took pictures of wearing the mask and when I took it off…I will never try any of your products again!!! I may have spent very little on it but would not recommend to even my worst enemy, js…tried to wash it off and add my own normal moisturizer and nothing is changing…looks like I got a very bad sunburn or a bad case of the hives…I rate it negative 5 stars!!!

I have liked almost all of the sheet masks I’ve tried so far, with my favorite being the TonyMoly I’m Real Rice sheet mask for clear skin.
I saw this at Walmart and decided to try it because it was the first sheet mask I saw that said the magic words (…help reduce blemishes and pores). Korean and Japanese sheet masks usually only focus on nurturing the skin and moisturizing, which is fine, but during TTOM I want my acne obliterated. For $2.50, I figured I’d give it a shot.
The packaging is a standard packet that you tear open. The sheet mask itself is black, which is a departure from the traditional white. I don’t know what exactly the material of the sheet itself is, but it was super soft compared to any other I’ve used before and that gave it a luxurious feel that I liked. The size was a bit smaller, but it fit my face so much better that this was a positive for me. Despite being loaded with serum with plenty left over in the packet to apply the next day, it didn’t drip at all. It was perfumed but as I’m not sensitive to that, I found it pleasant and not at all overwhelming. I left it on for about 30 minutes, although the directions say to use for 20, then removed and discarded the sheet mask and patted the remaining fluid into my skin without rinsing off. It felt slightly tacky afterwards but that too is normal in my experience.
Because the language on the product is English, I was able to see that this contains glycerin, castor oil, citric acid and fruit extracts, silica, volcanic ash, wintergreen leaf extract, and evening primrose extract, among other things. It also says that there are AHAs in here, which I liked. There is no discernible difference in my skin’s appearance upon removal, but it seemed to help heal existing acne and calm down the redness.
This was very comfy to wear and caused no irritation before or afterwards. I will probably try again.
