Call me crazy but this is an amazing brush to use for an all over “one and done” eyeshadow look. It has short dense bristles that are soft and do not irritate delicate eyelid skin. It has a relatively flat top, might have an ever so slight dome shape to it, which is perfect for swirling in my shadow of choice and buffing all over my lid, in the crease and onto the hood all in one shot. I have fairly hooded eyes and using this with the right medium toned shade helps recede the appearance of the hooded area. I like not having to fuss with multiple shades to be honest, I just don’t have the time or the patience to work with eyeshadows as they never show up with my eye shape. If I was one to wear concealer this really would be the perfect brush for that application as well. The size of this is just right for getting into the hollows and my experience with other RT brushes of this density are that they do not leave any streaks either. If I ever start wearing concealer I will repurchase this brush. It’s wonderful.

I got this brush (the single, not the set pictured) for under $10 at Marshalls here in Canada. My all time favourite concealer brush is actually a cream eyeshadow brush (now, sadly, discontinued) from Sephora’s Professional line but this one from RT comes a pretty close second. It works really well for all my favourite concealers, blending and stippling concealer into my dark under-eye circles quickly and with nicely blurred and blended edges. The only things I don’t like about it are that rubbery handle (with time, as I’ve found with other RT brushes, the rubber goes sticky and starts to degrade, and the fact that its packaging is not reusable to store the brush and with many people trying to reduce the amount of single use plastic, this could be remedied quite easily to make a package that could be re-used to store the brush for travel.

I got my Deluxe Concealer Brush in the trio set in the picture. It was a really great value for money purchase, as I ended up using all of the products every day, and I am actually thinking of buying a second trio set as a back up. Not a fan of Pixi Woos, I find them a tad too British to be able to relate to them and I don`t really like their tutorials, either, but I like these brushes. The bristles are very soft and they help to spread and blend concealer under my eyes without tugging and disturbing the delicate skin of the under eye area too much. It is the perfect tool for blending concealer under eyes, period. The sponge works well, too, but it tends to soak up product, and since I apply a minimal amount of expensive Sisley concealer, that`s not really doing me any favors. The brush fits my eye shape perfectly and blends without soaking up too much product. It`s easy to clean and sturdy, and I can`t recommend this enough.

Even though I normally prefer “classic” concealer brushes (flat, rounded, coloured in orange) – this brush has quickly become one of my favourites. It is essentially bigger in size and has an angled (yet soft) shape, which is so good. There are a lot of bristles in this brush, so it kind of feels fat, but still works really well as an undereye concealer brush or anywhere else on the face. If you want to cover a large area – this is a great tool to do that with.
Now it does leave lines (especially when not washed after every use), so I still use a sponge to further blend any imperfections. You can always read more about this and other RT must-have brushes in a separate review here ( but to keep it short – if you take your concealer game seriously and need that one tool to apply it evenly, you will enjoy this brush. It also works well for contouring (cream contour products).

The best concealer brush I’ve had to date. I worry that it might be brushing away quite a bit of product as I apply though. I usually find myself doing very light, almost patting, strokes. It puts my eyeshadow primer on like a champion though.

At first I thought this was a pretty good brush but after about a week, I realised it didn’t really apply the concealer that well. I prefer to “pat” concealer instead of “brush” it and found it hard to do it with this brush. Instead I now use this brush to blend my eyeshadow and it does a brilliant job, a lot better than most of my eyeshadow brushes:) would recommend for that job but if buying for concealing then definitely not.

Let me begin this review by saying that I’m not in love with this brush yet. I think it’s fabulous, but I haven’t finished experimenting with it and there is an aspect about it that I do not like. Still, since there were no reviews yet for this brush, I wanted to put some good points out there. I’ve used it only for undereye concealer but I want to try it for contour and eyeshadow as well.
As an undereye concealer brush: For me, this brush is PERFECTION for applying undereye concealer. It has a good feel to it – not at all flimsy or bend-y – very well made and feels good in the hand. Love the angle, couldn’t be better. I have very dark hollows at the inner corners of my eyes (against my nose) as well as downward-drooping eyes and the angle of this makes application effortless, both at getting into the eye corner and applying my concealer at an upward angle at the outer corners of my eyes to lift them upwards. LOVE. Mind you, I said it’s perfection for APPLYING concealer. What I don’t like about this brush is the way it BLENDS my concealer. I normally use a small foundation brush (Japonesque or Ecotools) to apply and blend concealer beneath my eyes; I have a very large undereye area. I’m a “patter” rather than a “swiper” and the flatness of a foundation brush does this quite naturally. I haven’t seemed to find a way to “pat” with this brush . . . I have to brush to blend. So I’m not happy with my finished undereye coverage and finish using the RT concealer brush. I reeeaaaalllly don’t want to use 2 different brushes to apply my concealer, but I love the RT brush for application and the other for blending . . . what to do, MUA??? As I said, I want to play with this brush for contouring application and maybe eyeshadow too; I will edit this review when I have a firm conviction either way!

For $1, this is my go-to brush to apply powder to fill in my brows. Sometimes I use a matte eyeshadow, and this brush dots the color in perfectly. I could also see using this as a lip brush like others have mentioned, or also a lower lash line brush for shadow and nail corrector for fixing polish edges. Great find!!!!

I don’t really use this brush for concealer but I find it very useful overall. It makes a good lip brush (almost identical to OCC’s lip brush), eyeliner brush and I’ve even used it to apply glitter. It’s a great little brush and I have several.

As a dark spot and blemish concealer brush this didn’t work out for me, but I ended up re-purposing it as a lip/gel liner/brow cleanup brush. It’s small and densely packed so it picks up color really well and applies it smoothly. I also know some people use small brushes like this to clean up after nail polish application, so I’ll be picking up a few more seeing as they’re so multipurpose and inexpensive.

I love this brush so much that I went back and bought a second one to use as a lip brush! I find that this little wonder works equally well with both concealer and lipstick and other lip products. It is compact and gets the job done quickly and easily every time, regardless of the product. To be honest, I was surprised that this brush wasn’t marketed for lip products because it works much like a traditional lip brush that other competing companies sell. Still, it’s great for its marketed use and I find is gentle enough to use around the eyes.

This is a good priced brush. This works great for applying powder eyeliner or lining underneath your eyebrows. I also used this for filling in my eyebrows. I like how tightly this brush is packed!

This brush is much too small for under eyes but it is awesome for spot concealing. Dark spots, pimples, and also inner corners of the eye and around the sides of the nose, etc. Great for small areas but no way can this work for big areas. And its crazy affordable! Great buy!

This is my go-to brush for my everyday face makeup, which mostly consists of spot concealing of red/dark marks. It works wonderfully and it’s the only brush I’ve found that works to make my concealer precise and full coverage. It really helps to conceal blemishes as well since you don’t end up using too much concealer. I’ve already bought maybe 10 of these over the past several years. While it doesn’t last more than 6 months to a year, it’s only $1 so it doesn’t feel bad that I have to repurchase often. I always have backups on hand, and will continue to do so forever (hopefully)!

Best concealer brush ever. Most of them are waaaay too big for concealing spots, I can’t understand why they’re made like that. This one is the perfect size and shape for spots, good quality, the bristles are firm enough to blend product without splaying everywhere but they’re perfectly soft and not scratchy. The brush looks expensive and classy, as it should when it costs so much. I don’t mind the expense much though, since the brush should last for decades.

I can’t believe I bought this tbh. More fool me. It is way to small to spot conceal unless of course your spots are so small you may not even need to conceal them! I mean just sooooo small! I am considering using this as a tight line brush or something eye related cuz I paid so much for it but as a concealer…nu-uh!!!

I’ve said I would repurchase this again but honestly unless I lose it I don’t think I’ll need to. It’s in great shape and although I’ve only had it just over a year I use it and wash it regularly for work. Sometimes on occasion I’ll get it out for myself too as it’s so perfect for perfecting skin. It’s just the right size for concealing small scars and blemishes and I although I have many concealer brushes in all shaps and sizes I don’t have another to rival it for the job it does. Excellent! A must have!

I purchased this brush two years ago and consider it to be one of the best brushes I own. It looks and works just as good as the I purchased it. The concealer brush is very small, which enables you to be precise when covering up scars and blemishes. Well worth the money.

This is an excellent brush for covering up difficult blemishes or getting into hard-to-reach places (inner eye, corners of the nose). I love that it’s tiny enough to double as an eyelining brush as well. Quality is wonderful, I’ve used this extensively both for concealing and eye lining and it hasn’t shed and has stayed soft. If you’re looking for a concealer brush for larger blemishes or for the larger undereye area, this is too small to be practical, but if you need a tiny concealer brush this is ideal.

OMG, I’m giving a bad review to something Kevyn Aucoin!! Why? Because this brush is the most worthless piece of ____ you’ll ever buy. It’s too small to cover up a small zit, let alone cystic acne and splotchiness. It’d serve it’s purpose better as a liquid eyeliner brush or even a lip brush. The bristles splay out too quickly (mine looks ragged).
Not a repurchase, nor a necessity.

I wasn`t planning on buying this brush, I just happened to see it in action at the Laura Mercier counter when I went to try out the new high coverage under eye concealer. The concealer itself was disappointing, very dry, not pliable enough and hard to blend. I ended up buying the brush because I was amazed how well it fit into the small corners of the eye and how well it blended even that awful concealer. I don`t like putting pressure on the delicate skin on this part of the face, and this brush does an amazing job with feather light strokes. It works equally well with all other kinds of concealers and especially with Secret Camouflage. It`s awesome for pinpoint concealing. It also comes as a retractable brush at the same price, which is practical for travel. Definitely one of my favorite brushes.

Smallish size concealer brush with a tapered end which makes it really easy to conceal under eyes, inner corner of eyes, small spots etc. Bristles are just the right length so the application does not get sloppy. For those who want to conceal large areas in one go you might want to look for a different brush.

this is a tiny brush, and is supposed to be used to apply concealer to a certain area. its impossible to blend with this so your gunna have to have another brush on hand.i found it didnt pick up my concealer good and took ages to apply. not worth it, might as well invest in MAC

This brush is AWESOME.
I first bought it for using with LM’s Secret Camouflage concealer, with which I have a love/hate relationship (I’ve reviewed it here if anyone’s interested) but for me the best feature of that purchase is probably this brush.
I’m on a never-ending quest for the HG concealer, so I’ve tried a lot of them .. but again and again, I discover that the only thing they all seem to have in common is that they look better when applied with this brush.
This is a small brush that’s perfect for detail work. It would be a headache to try to go over a larger area with it (that’s what your foundation brush is for!) but it gets right into the corners of your eyes for under-eye concealer, can be used to brighten the outside edge of your lips, or to cover blemishes with precision. If you use a light touch, you get just the tip, if you apply a bit of pressure, you get the wider base. Using a brush like this allows you to build your concealer, and make sure that it’s right where you want it.
Using this brush means you’ll never apply to much concealer, or end up with your concealer all over your face when you only wanted it in one small area.
I’ve used this with liquid concealers that come with wands, with cream ones that come in pots, and even hard ones like LM’s Secret Camouflage. It works like a dream with them all. Though I may never find my HG concealer, this is certainly my HG concealer brush.

For the price, this brush was very disappointing. It’s the first time I bought something without checking MUA first, and it proved to be unwise. It hasn’t shed on me yet, but it is horrible with concealer application under the eyes (the creamier ones). Application is uneven and I’m better off using my fingers. For dry concealer, it’s just OK, nothing special. I wish I didn’t toss my receipt…

It surprised me how nice these brushes are. I’ve had this brush for a while now and it still looks perfectly brand new and hardly shedding at all. I randomly decided to buy it at my Fortinos and I love it, definitely gonna remember this brand!

This was my first ever makeup brush! When I just got into makeup, I bought a concealer that I thought would need to be applied with a brush, so I went out and bought this.
It has been more than 2 years since I’ve had this brush, and it still looks like I bought it just yesterday.
I experienced no shedding, no loss of colour, NOTHING! Even after I washed it everyday with some hand soap; even after I let it dry standing up (both with the bristles in the air and touching my counter top)!!
It’s still the same shape, still the same quality and feels so soft!
I bought this when superstore originally came out with it’s joe fresh makeup line, so it was $12 when I bought it, but now i see it for $8 and the handle is a bit shorter than mine.
The only other concealer brush I have is the mini version ecotools concealer brush, and to be honest it does the exact same job, but I find the bristles for the ecotools one became harder after I washed it a couple of times.
I would definitely repurchase and will check out the rest of the line!

I really love this brush. Even though I seldom use this for concealer application, but I mostly use it to contour my nose, and it works amazing. I washes my brushes pretty often too and none bristles fall off. This is totally worth the price.

I like this brush, although I do not use it on a daily basis. This is good for applying concealer on the face. I prefer a smaller brush for the undereye area, but it does okay under there, too. Mostly I use this to conceal small spots of discoloration. It works well for this purpose.

LOVE this brush. It’s absolutely perfect for precise application and blending of concealer. I can use it under my eye area and on small freckles or blemishes with beautiful results. It’s softer and larger than most concealer brushes, which I think is great because until now, I always used to apply concealer with a concealer brush then blend with my foundation brush. Really glad I found a great brush that can do both.
I gave it a 4 for packaging because mine came in a set of 4 brushes and the concealer brush bristles got a little crumpled in the packet. All the brushes in the set are extremely soft and high quality for the price!
I will definitely be getting this brush again if I ever need to.

First off, “ecotools” as a name is a joke. The poly bag that houses these brushes (and I have the blush brush as well as the concealer brush) is ridiculously constructed and completely useless. They try to make it into a resealable poly pouch for traveling with the brush, but I travel, and it never occurred to me to bother with these packages again. They are ugly and look like they would split open upon one bag check.
Also, BOTH of my brushes have split. Meaning the brush top and ferrule have literally come unglued from the wood brush handle. Yes,I could get all DIY and buy some superglue, but should I really have to go to the trouble on a simple makeup brush.
They were affordable, and the brush hairs are fine (don’t shed much), but the product construction itself is fully inferior.
I would not buy any more of their products.

This brush is really great! I don’t have a bad thing to say about it. I actually don’t even use it for concealer. I was at ulta and needed a small brush for contouring around the nose and eye area and I’m a huge fan of the finishing kabuki by them so for $5 I figured why not give it a try. It’s the best brush I’ve found for nose/eye contouring and really blending the color out to look natural. I’ve had this for so long and I wash my brushes very frequently and I haven’t had one hair fall out (same goes for their finishing kabuki)

I love ALL of the Ecotools products! They aren’t harsh on my sensitive skin, and apply any product flawlessly. I’ll definitely be purchasing more soon, and grabbing another concealer brush while I’m at it!

I love this brush! Super easy to use, and I love how quickly I can blend out the conceler, but I also can use it to sharpen up all my lines I.e. my lips or my eyeliner. It doesn’t wobble or smudge (my hands shake like a freaking earthquake) and over all it’s cheap and a smart buy~

I bought 4 of these recently & have a couple old 1s so I stocked up. Awesome for cleaning up ur brows after adding in brow pomade/Brow powder or small detail working in under ur eyes instead of using an expensive pencil like MAC Chromagraph pencils I go thru so quick but a concealer I can buy for a much better deal. Also the concealer stays on my oily skin just as good w dipping this brush in a bit of pressed powder to go over the concealer. They are now USD$2 they used to be $1 but ah still a good deal! And cruelty free! I’m on a low buy so it’s exhilarating tbh to find things for $2-$3 which work awesome & are in a good ELF display which isn’t impossible to find (I don’t like ordering on elf’s site anymore!)

I love this brush – I use it to get a perfect face – it is a tiny cat’s tongue shape (triangular) and really gets EVERY LAST SPOT you want, in the way you ought to – without scrumbling into other areas. I can dive bomb undereye areas, pimples, freckles, everything. You name it, I can conceal it. Perhaps I love this so much because I’m an artist? Probably. But my face looks fabulous, too. I can get such perfect application that I can go on concealer and a little powder alone, and have done so more than just several times, using this brush. Very, very pleased.

PROS: well-made; COMMENTS: flat ferrule, lucite handle. When I first saw this brush, my first thoughts were: lip brush? Eyelining brush? I usually use two different types of concealer brushes: a small tapered one (for blemishes) and a large tapered one (for undereye circles). This works fine for blemishes, but I think there are better concealer brushes on the market.
