Never thought about buying a primer didn’t think I’d have a use for it because I have dry skin and wear moisturiser – plus I like my makeup to look dewy…. I assumed it would just mattify my makeup finish…
I was wrong.
Ladies with dry ass skin like mine will love this too. Now I obviously have no comparison with any other products because this is my only time using it so do take my review with a pinch of salt… HOWEVER, it makes my foundation go on so smooth!! It use the yellow based formula for my skin tone which is NW47\50 for your reference.
The product has little flecks of shimmer which helps to give your foundation a glow, but it’s only subtle it’s not like glitter.
I got a 2 testers from Mac that I’m using because the full bottle is £30 which I think is quite expensive. I don’t wear foundation everyday maybe once a week/ once a fortnight so it will last a while even when I do come around to buying the full size bottle.
I moisturise with my usual Cetaphil, Primer, then studio Fix liquid, then Fix+ Spray (sometimes il use the Mac setting powder too if I want to look a more made-up look).

MAC Natural Radiance-Yellow is my favorite primer. This decision has been a long time coming. Through much trial and error, and several primers in tow, the journey to find my favorite primer has been arduous, because, you see, I am not fond of many.
Natural Radiance stands out from the crowd. It makes my skin look beautiful, plain and simply. I love an emollient look to my skin through all seasons. The effect of the primer truly comes to life once the makeup is applied.

Its hydrating properties creates a nice base for the foundation to adhere to; provides comfort to the skin; keeps the skin looking energized; perfects the makeup by creating a stunning all over glow.
It seems the longer you wear this primer, the more it hydrates and brings radiance to the skin. For this reason, your makeup not only looks gorgeous when first applied but looks even more beautiful with time.

I was told that this would work well with the Studio Fix fluid foundation. I purchased the pink version. I found it made my face look much more oily. I can appreciate the dewy look, but this didn’t flatter me. I will not repurchase.

I was given a couple of very generous samples of this product by a lovely MAC sales associate so have used it about 5 times so far. It comes in two shades – pink and yellow. I have neutral skin, but my best MAC foundation match is NC15, so I was given the yellow colour. I apply this to my skin with my fingers and give it a couple of minutes to settle before applying foundation. I find that my foundation applies well over this primer, whether I am using a brush or a sponge. All my other makeup sits nicely over this primer also. It doesn’t seem to give too much radiance or glow – my matte foundations remain matte over this primer. However, it does help my makeup to last longer and stop separation on my chin and mouth areas (which are generally my problem areas). All in all it is a great primer and I would purchase a full size happily, but I cannot give it a full 5 lipsticks as it is certainly not ‘radiant’.

I used to think, “Primer Schrimer” and just put foundation on over sunscreen.
Then I tried the standards: Smashbox, drugstore, NARS (I do like NARS…) and was underwhelmed.
I love this, though. My makeup really DOES look better and it is easier to apply. I don’t get the nose-forehead breakdown and I never get it seeping into my plentiful lines on my 63-year old face.
It’s $42 – one of the higher-priced MAC products. An application requires a single pump.

I bought this based on its brand, I love MAC so much for its makeupsss but this thing doesn’t suit me well. I bought yellow since I have yellow undertone. As per packaging it says will give radiance but i dont see any radiance after apply this primer. I have combo skin and i also my makeup doesn’t stay all day with this primer. I still love my farsali more than this.

Just bought the second bottle. My favorite primer! Extremely hydrating and contains caffeine which perks up the skin in tired mornings. Doesn’t realy control the oil but my makeup is flawless when ai use this. Actually I regard it more as a skincare/primer product. Love this! And a bottle lasts a REALLY long time

This is the first primer I really like. I got a free sample in Pink from their online store with an order and I was blown away at how nice it made my makeup look. Most primers give me either cystic acne or a burning red rash on my t zone but this did neither. Very nice product. I have sensitive combo leaning dry skin, NC15-20.

Hi Beauty Ladies there… I bought Mac Natural Radiance in yellow shade as I’m NC 40 and I’m yellow undertone. Pink undertone women’s can go for pink shade. I absolutely love it. It performs what it says. It controls oil atleast for 4 hours and needs touch up after it if u r very oily skin. But for combo skin it works best in controlling oil. It also hydrates skin without making skin greasy looking and skin looks plumped naturally. It really really makes any Mac foundation I tried results in long time wearing without creasing or fading. It has shimmer particles which is noticable but after when u apply foundation it fades, it is good thing as when shimmer is more visible u look like disco ball in sunlight mostly. I prolongs wear time of foundation, foundation sticks well. After using this primer only I came to know the advantage of primer, it hydrates, pomotes easy application of foundation and it sticks well for prolong wear and one most important thing I want to say is, it prevents OXIDATION as it creates a barrier between skin and foundation, so that oil produced by skin will not disturb foundation to oxidise. Primer helps to keep foundation and face fresh as it is applied 5 min before and no colour change n dull looking. Mainly for oily skin and combination skin ladies I surely recommend this primer. It might cost high but it comes for sooo long time since one pump is enough for full face and neck… Grab it beauty ladies!!

Emperors new clothes effect. Did nothing but left light pink sparkle sheen on skin, which I hate. As a primer it gave maybe an extra hour of wear time on my foundation. Waste of money, don’t bother. You get more priming capabilities from heavy dimethicone moisturizer.
