I have oily dehydrated skin with tons of redness. I bought this ‘calming soothing’ mask with hopes of reducing the redness. It made my face even redder unfortunately, even tho l followed the instructions. No glow, but more matte skin for the day. Due time the redness l can’t use it before makeup as l’d hoped. I normally use Korean sheet masks that plump, reduce redness and give a glow, so this falls far short. Brazened Honey is my fave Lush mask.

This is a great before bed mask. It’s gentle and smooth, and it smells nice. Maybe it’s because you have to store it in the fridge, but the cool clay texture feels really relaxing when I apply it.
The next morning, my face feels really smooth. My skin has a nice glow, but less oil. I use acids to exfoliate, so I like a gentle mask on my off days. This hits that spot without a harsh scent at a reasonable price.

This mask can go a long way. Despite the small tub, I’ve tested that you only need a thin layer to get outstanding results. At first, i did put a thick paste but it was so hard to remove. So spreading it thinly over your face gives you a refreshed glow. I use this every other day and i haven’t experienced any dryness. I still moisturize only because it’s a habit. I don’t even need to put make up before I head out. That’s how good my skin has been since I used it. Try it to feel how good it is!

This mask is very very thick. I did not see any improvement in my skin after washing it off. I am not a fan of Lush masks per se because they are a bit pricey for what they sell. I feel that I can easily whip up the same concoction at home with fresher ingredients. I like the concept however I am just not sold on the idea of paying more for something I can make myself.

this is a great mask especially if you want to mattify your skin. It is slightly drying so I like to just use it on my T-Zone. I find that afterward I don’t have to use powder on this area and it also makes my skin look nice and fresh and smooth. Nice scent. Thick texture.

This is one of LUSH’s most underrated products. I’ve always been interested in their “Fresh Masks” but turned off that they expire quickly (approximately 3-4 weeks after purchase) and must be refrigerated. For 60g at $12.95 CAN (super cheap), I thought I might as well treat myself and I’m happy I did.
The formula is a thick, smooth, clay-like texture. It is cold because it is refrigerated, so it is SUPER refreshing to wear during the hot summer months. If you like anything rose-scented, this product is great because it smells like fresh roses – ultra relaxing to wear. I usually apply a generous layer, wait about 30 minutes and enjoy the cold sensation and floral aroma before rinsing off with cool water. This product is advertised to calm and soothe, which it does! It’s a great summer product because it cools you down and soothes your skin especially if you’re in the sun all day. This product doesn’t advertise doing anything for acne, but I find I have fewer breakouts because the clay works to soak up excess oils that would cause pimples.
If you’re looking to treat yourself, buy this. It’s a cheap luxury that I think every girl should have this summer.

Fantastic fresh face mask. Heavily rose scented with damascus rose oil, and with calamine powder for oily skin and kaolin clay. Dries softly withput pulling, like an Aztec Clay mask would, washes off cleanly and makes my skin very soft. Sometimes I use it just on my T zone, and I always follow up with Thayer’s rose witch hazel and Lush’s Vanishing cream. I am 47 but my skin looks like I’m 30.

This mask is suitable for dry skin. My skin is something in between and I would say that it dries my skin. I absolutely love the texture of the mask and the only thing what I don’t like it’s the smell. I think it works okay.

This is definitely a mask for people with oily skin. My skin is combination, I don’t have large pores but I do tend to break out a lot, which is when I went looking for a mask that would really calm my skin.
My testament to this product is that I used it about 2-3 times a week without any reactions (I have sensitive skin so this is important!). I almost never finish masks, I use them every so often and forget about them, but this one had such a transforming effect that I wanted to keep using it. It really smoothed my skin and made it noticeably softer, it also calmed the redness and healed my acne. I will absolutely re-purchase.
The scent is strong but not overpowering, and the texture is incredibly smooth. I liked that keeping the mask in the fridge made it cold when I applied it. This is also the easiest mask to remove, it washes off very cleanly and easily at the sink.
It can leave your skin tight and dry, so I would recommend following with toner and moisturiser before bed. I had good success combining with rose water for toner and trilogy balancing face lotion for moisturiser.
