This is pretty good . I used to wear this when I was younger I just bought some to see it’s basically the same as it used to be . Medium coverage makes face look nice. I love the smell but I use noxzema

I like this foundation a lot. I usually buy HE makeup for everything except facial products; my skin for some reason gets along better with drugstore stuff. The more basic, the better! Right now I’m pretty tan so I’m using 155 in the liquid and pressed powder. It is very lightweight, doesn’t break me out, and evens out my pores and skin tone. I don’t get much coverage for blemishes, but that’s what concealer is for anyways. My favorite thing about this product is the texture (I can’t feel it on my face!) and color match. There is a good variety of warm/cool tones in this product line. It’s also available pretty much everywhere. Definitely recommend, I’ve used foundations up to 20x more expensive and this is a great find!

Bought this last wk perhaps for memories of my teen/ college yrs in the 90’s lol…I was not expecting it to be all that great, just saw it on sale for $8.99…Anyhow, I’m actually blown away!! I’ve no idea how or why, but this foundation gives me full coverage. It’s the only drug store one that’s actually covered my hyperpigmentation scars. Been wearing it daily as my office/ work foundation eversince.

I think I used to use this foundation back in high school, but I have no recollection of whether it worked for me since I had no clue how to apply makeup then. I decided to give it another try and was not pleased. The foundation pours out very quickly, so it’s easy to get way too much product at once. My main issue was that it immediately stung my face! I always moisturize and apply primer before applying foundation and I haven’t experienced a product that stung like this in quite some time. Thankfully I was able to bring it back to Walgreens and exchange it, but even after just one use I decided I would never ever repurchase this.

So I have not used this foundation in a while and decided to give it a try. Well the shade (Ivory 105) is spot on. The coverage is just enough to even out my skin tone. I don’t mind the smell at all – very comforting.

I love this foundation! I first tried the oily version only to be very disappointed. Then j figured I’d try this normal version and it is 100x better. This gives me a glowing look without feeling sticky or wet. The undertones in the normal range are much better than the oily line too. More undertones and they don’t oxidize! I also love the scent, smells like noxzema. I actually looked into it and that’s actually what was in this makeup when it originally launched in the 60s. Covergirl was started by noxzema, how cool! I don’t break out as much as I used to and it looks very natural. This is amazing and I would suggest trying this if the other clean foundations haven’t worked for you!

Hello lovelies! Well this is one of a few everyday foundations I often grab on a daily basis (carefully since it’s a glass container) due to the fact that it is easy to blend with a sponge, your phalanges, foundation brush, kitchen spatula (j/k regarding the latter) etc, which ever application technique you prefer. This makeup also looks very natural in broad daylight / bright indoor lighting, & contains zero SPF (so no probs w/ awkward looking selfies). As a result I’m glad to say this foundation doesn’t make me look like a crumbly candy sprinkled frosted cupcake. Another plus is that it doesn’t seem to break my acne-prone/sensitive skin out,- however I can certainly understand if someone with existing acne or other skin issues would need or want more coverage. Oh yeah one more benefit, it minimizes pores when used w/ a setting powder like the accompanying pressed or loose CG in the same product line which seem very compatible to this particular foundation(not paid by CG Corp to say that BTW, just my honest opinion from a substantial amount of experience w/ this product).
Anyway, now that my complexion is clearing up in my adulthood yet I still have combo skin, CG Normal Skin in 105 Ivory is often my go to foundation for winter, fall, & spring while I gravitate toward the oil-control version during summertime for my frying pan greasier face lolz. Anywho, speaking of summer, a slight downside w/ this foundation is the fact that it doesn’t have sunblock so make sure to add one in your daily regimen! (unless you perfer the leathered cowboy look in your elder years that is). Another downner is if you are unintionally goth like myself, it may not be light enough.., you know the look fair beauties, like your head is not normally attached to your neck..omg creeepy.
I personally remedy this issue by mixing this (& other foundations that are too dark) with a little (1/2 a pump) Manic Panic Dreamtone Color Corrector in the color “Virgin”. (who comes up w/ these product names “Virgin” haha).
Anyway, another somewhat con is lasting power. Let’s be real folks this is not the best out there but, ..But, enter (drum roll/fan fare trumpets) Setting Spray! (I use Elf Mist & Set). Also w/ this foundation, a light pat of powder or usage of a makeup blotting sheet by mid-day as needed will usually keep me going until around 6pm so regarding staying power, using the tips above =
10hrs: normal working/productive day & approx. 12hrs: chillaxed, procrastinating, non-strenuous lazy day.
Basically when you add up xtra products like setting spray, potential color correcting tint -if you can’t find a perfect match that is, sun protection, face powder, this very inexpensive foundation will eventually add up to the cost of a higher-priced drug store all-in-one foundation like Revlon Colorstay liquid. (not sure if Revlon CS has spf though??)
Last but not least, I promise ladies & gents this is it..ugh Finally!….
Um err, eh heh (fake clearing out throat)… The S-m-e-l-l. Let’s see, how do I put this nicely yet remain totally honest & accurate…well, it’s like eucalyptus & Noxema got married & had some feisty offspring.
I don’t mind it as it actually helps my asthma & sinus allergies (I know, I know, strange right?) The fragrance yes indeed (fake British accent) definitely may not be everyone’s cup of tea. Good day & Carry On, Carry On.

I have combination skin and I would not buy this again. It peeled right off my face. So bad

This is your basic, standard foundation. It doesn’t do much for coverage- Light in that department but as I have for many years, enjoyed the clean smell.

This is a good drug store brand makeup. I love the smell of it. It smells like Noxema. I did notice it oxidized a little bit, but I put the cover girl loose powder over it and that helped a lot. It tends to rub off on anything so I have to be careful when changing clothes, etc. but I would repurchase.
