For a start I still looking for any information about this brand.. It’s way too cheap. It’s about $2.50 plus $1 shipping. But my review is that it is good. Medium coverage and it doesnt cakey. I bought the darkest shade #3 which is still fair for tan people. And i quite happy with the result after apply on my skin. I have oily combination skin but no ance problem. Also i have open pores. I apply with laikou mineral powder Z01 shade, voila you have almost flawless skin. But still I’m looking for this product info because I’m afraid if it just like other OEM brand that can effect your skin after stop using it.

Background: MAC NC 15-20 foundation in winter with mostly neutral undertones. I have SS, acne-prone and aging skin.
This is a preliminary review. I just got this in the mail this week, so I’ve only worn it twice. But, I wanted to start the review in case anyone else has tried this product and has any tips or comments to make.
I only gave this 4 lippies because I haven’t used it enough yet to know how well it will work during the hot summer months. But, so far, this stuff is fantastic for the price – paid less than $3.50 with shipping from Hong Kong from ebay (it took about 2 1/2 weeks to get to me). Foundation came cellophane sealed in a box. Product is in a 40ml frosted glass bottle with pump top. As far as I can tell, this foundation only comes in 3 shades – Natural White Light, Light Ivory and Skin (#3), which is the shade I purchased. Other sellers named the shades 1) Ivory 2) Natural Beige 3) Dark Beige. It matches my skin at NC25 now perfectly (I forgot to apply sunscreen last week).
The formula is waterproof, oil-controlling and dries to a matte finish. It claims to be moisturizing as well. I think this prevents the final look from looking too dry like most other waterproof foundations. But, it doesn’t dry to a satin finish. Coverage is light to medium, depending on how many layers you apply – at 1 layer, it’s definitely light coverage. Formula consistency is medium liquid, slippery, silky, not powdery. It does contain obvious perfume/added scent that reminds me of the smell of HE foundations, but just like those brands, the scent lingers and will probably be a deal-breaker for many. Sellers say it contains sunscreen, but I can’t determine yet what the exact SPF is.
It takes about 5 minutes to totally dry. While still wet and workable, it is satiny and easy to apply and blend with a beauty sponge. I work in sections in case it dries too fast for me to finish my whole face. It is buildable with a primer. If used directly on your face with no other product, I think it would be more difficult to apply a 2nd layer. I used a silicone based primer underneath it both times, and it blended easily, sat nicely on my skin, and did not melt or move. I will see in the later summer months when it is much hotter whether it provides shine free coverage all day. It did not oxidize. I used a setting powder on top, no setting spray.
Lasted a full 8 hours with only the tip of my nose and chin becoming shiny, but I have very oil skin. I have never met a foundation that prevented my nose and chin from becoming oily by the end of the day. It is natural looking, did not cake or settle into creases.
Pros: Cost, decent waterproof formula that is more workable than many other waterproof foundations out there, sits nicely on face, does not settle into creases or emphasize imperfections (but also did nothing to mask them) does not oxidize
Cons: Only 3 shades available, not sold in the U.S. from what I can tell, perfumed/scented
Laikou makes other makeup items like BB and CC creams, snail essence products, moisturizers, etc.
Partial ingredient list: rose essential oil, pearl powder, Vit. E, ring five polydimethylsiloxane, butanediol. Shelf life is 3 years.
