I have been trying to find a colored SPF 30 or greater and also have actually attempted numerous over the past year. I have actually used this in the lightest shade a couple of times and so much I’m not enjoying it. My primary complaint is that it does not work well with my skincare. It is rather smeary as well as doesn’t stick well to specific areas of my face, particularly my red locations next to my nose. I had problem using concealer on top too. So, yeah, no– covering my red locations is kind of the whole factor!! Yesterday I used this for a throughout the day conference and I had peely spots in my undereye location as well as also around my mouth by the mid-day. In addition to the smeary element, it additionally requires a reasonable quantity of rubbing in to use as well. I do not mind the aroma. This is quite pricey at $39. I will certainly try out other creams to see if I can make this job, yet I would not repurchase. I do still really like their untinted oil free moisturizer– has SPF 30 as well as provides a beautiful radiance.

Attempted in desert radiance. No coverage whatsoever. Simply made my skin look oily

My major reason for acquiring this was my timeless search for a mineral sunscreen that does not consist of silicone. If not for that, I would have been as well put off by the weird odor to also attempt it. All Juice Appeal items have an uncommon scent that reminds me of red wine and/or environment-friendly apples. Yet it truly does fade quickly, as well as whatever it is, it does not appear to aggravate me. This sunscreen is perhaps a bit oilier than I would favor, however it hasn’t caused breakouts. (That’s my main issue with silicone.) The insurance coverage is light to non-existent, but Desert Glow is a great color for me– I’m probably an NW 20, and also it changes me a bit toward golden.
Still no outbreaks! That’s uncommon when it comes to me as well as sunscreen. However, it’s quite shimmery, as well as I have actually come to realize that’s not a flattering view on me at age 66.

I have been looking for a tinted SPF 30 or greater and have tried quite a few over the past year. I have used this in the lightest shade a few times and so far I’m not loving it. Tried in desert glow. No coverage at all. Just made my skin look oily

My main reason for buying this was my eternal search for a mineral sunscreen that doesn’t contain silicone. If not for that, I would have been too put off by the odd smell to even try it. All Juice Beauty products have an unusual scent that reminds me of wine and/or green apples. But it really does fade quickly, and whatever it is, it doesn’t seem to irritate me. This sunscreen is maybe a bit oilier than I would prefer, but it hasn’t caused breakouts. (That’s my main problem with silicone.) The coverage is light to non-existent, but Desert Glow is a nice color for me — I’m probably an NW 20, and it shifts me a bit toward golden.
Still no breakouts! That’s unheard of when it comes to me and sunscreen. However, it’s pretty shimmery, and I’ve come to realize that’s not a flattering look on me at age 66.

I decided to follow the advice to use sunscreen everyday and started with Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair with Sunscreen. My skin reacted very angrily to that product, so I went looking for a non-chemical face sunscreen that wouldn’t look chalky. The associate at Ulta recommended this CC cream.
I am not a CC cream user, so I can’t tell you how it compares to others. What I can say is that my skin is smoother since using it and it is non-irritating. I can feel it on my skin when I first put it on, but after about 15 minutes it’s not noticeable. It is fine for incidental sun exposure but, not surprisingly, it isn’t effective in direct sun. Leaving the office to go to lunch, yes. Taking a walk at lunch, no.
The only downside is the price. I am trying another product before I run out completely, just in case I can find something cheaper.

Even though this doesn’t provide much coverage, I still love the way it makes my skin glow. I also love the scent, it feels like I’m putting something really beneficial and clean onto my skin (not sure if that’s true, but that’s what it feels like). I usually mix some mineral powder foundation with my sunscreen, then add this on top. My skin is really dry, so I do like the dewy finish this provides. I’d give it 5 stars if it had more coverage.

I have this in Natural Glow, it’s a pretty shade, but zero coverage, and really shiny.
This makes application and makeup difficult, and re-application near impossible. I like it for neck and arms, but that’s it. I’m oily, so maybe that’s why. I liked their Oil Free Moisturizer, though.

This has been a go-to for me for a few years now. I am very fair, and use the ‘Natual Glow’ shade. It doesnt offer much coverage, but that’s what i like about it. I use it as a face/neck/chest daytime SPF. Unlike untinted mineral sunscreens, this doesnt make me appear to be paler than I already am. The finish is dewy and I have never broken out from use.

The only thing I like about this product is the metal tip, it is cool to the touch and good for de-puffing. The actual product is meh. It doesn’t cover anything and the coverage is extremely light, but it is very dewy and moisturizing. I would say this would be good to put under a bb cushion, or for sunscreen.

Background on my skin: very dry+very sensitive, medium southeast Asian skin tone.
The 1st time I’ve used Juice Beauty was in high school, a sales person talked me into buying a whole range of green apple (face wash, toner, serum, moisturizer and sunscreen). Unfortunately, none of the products worked for me as they were all too strong, I’m guessing from all the fruit acid.
10+ years later I decided to give Juice Beauty another go with this CC cream as I was looking for a tinted physical sunscreen. First impression was amazing, it blended in flawlessly, no white cast and didn’t cling on to dry spot (if you have dry skin, you’ll know what I’m talking about). It gave a lovely dewy look and felt really hydrated. A few days in, I started to have random rashes on my face, especially on the cheeks. I kept using it because I wanted it to work so badly, it gave me such a nice glow! Less than a week of using it, my skin was in a pretty bad shape; bumps, rashes and little pimples were appearing constantly. After just 1 day of not using it, my skin cleared up and was back to normal. I would definitely return it but I threw the receipt away 🙁
Conclusion: If you are sensitive to AHA or BHA, avoid this at all cause. If you have dry skin with no other skin problem, this might be good for you. Also if you wear glasses like I do, beware as I rubs off very easily and will make your glasses slide down your nose constantly.

Wanted so much to love this as I am transitioning to organic, green & cruelty free type products but I think this is a much overhyped product (I should have looked at the 3.3 value here before purchasing).
I have dry aging skin. Many reviews mentioned how greasy this become on peoples skin and not to moisturize beforehand. So I did not use any moisturizer or primer underneath and ended up with tight dryish skin. It Didn’t feel comfortable. I didn’t think my face looked anywhere near $39 worth it. Felt like it just gave me a thin wash of color and still felt blotchy and my skin just didn’t feel right but no major reactions. Overall felt really disappointed at this price point and returned the product. Really Wish Juice would offer trial sized products. I ended up going with Andalou brightening BB and it’s everything I was expecting with Juice CC at a much much cheaper price ($13 vs. $39)
