Not to be confused with the Nooni Snowflake Cleansing balm, which has more of a coconut oil texture. This product is truly like a translucent jelly. It’s hard to describe. The packaging is great, there is a flip lid with a little place to keep the included scoop. A tiny scoopful is all you need. it melts into a soft, wonderful oil as you massage it into your face. I use it as the first step in double cleansing. After you massage it in, you add water to emulsify, continue to massage, rinse, then follow with a gentle cleanser. It removes every speck of makeup, even stubborn eye makeup.
I was concerned at first about the light fragrance, but I’ve been using it a few times a week for 2 weeks and have had no problems with breakouts or irritation. I find it does leave a not so unpleasant film on my face if I use a cream cleanser, so I usually use a gentle foaming cleanser, like Cerave or Aveeno Ultra Calming.
Fun and luxurious to use, and I would buy it again…though I probably won’t for a while because there are so many cleansing balms and oils out there today, and I love trying different ones, and having different ones to choose from every night.
