This is my favorite product from The Ordinary. There are several others that I like or even love, but this is the one I would keep if I could only choose one.
The only sign of aging I’ve really noticed on my face is the elevens. And they started showing up several years ago. They’re worse when I wake up in the morning because I’m an angry sleeper (and awaker, but at least I can control what my face is doing when I’m awake). I’ve got nothing against procedures but they’re just not my thing.
I started using this about 6 months ago, religiously twice a day (occasionally I’ve skipped a day or two but not often). I know these things don’t happen overnight so I just kept using/repurchasing. Then one day it occurred to me that those goddamn elevens aren’t bothering me so much. When I look in the mirror or at photos they used to be the first thing I’d notice. I considered cutting bangs several times (I call them nature’s Botox ). Unfortunately I have a cowlick that makes bangs a very bumpy ride for me. Now, the lines are much less prevalent. I also love how this stuff feels. It’s the consistency of water but leaves a refreshing slightly dewy feel that’s the perfect canvas for whatever else I’m applying. It’s inexpensive enough to try for a few months and very gentle, so I would definitely recommend.

Use this only to spot treat!! I use it on my forehead, 11, and eye area. The results are not instant, but it is smoothing my forehead and around my eyes. I use it on clean skin let dry then put on my other products. I will re purchase

This really does work! I use it on my eleven lines, forehead and outside of eyes. You have to use it it 2x a day for maximum benefit…I notice a difference when I skip days…the furrowing returns.
This has become a staple in my skincare!

THEY SAY GOD IS IN THE DETAILS
I don’t have deep wrinkles or folds. This was an impulse buy at under $10 US; I was curious and wondered what it might do for me.
I can’t detect any real smell to this thin, watery liquid. It goes on smoothly, absorbs and dries quickly. I use it around my eyes and on the forehead, between my eyebrows, on slight nasolabial folds, and under my chin.
I didn’t think much about it the first time. Afterward, I went to go do some things around the house and check the mail outside. I didn’t even think about it when my neighbor commented on how fresh-faced I looked. It was just a nice compliment, right?
That was about ten days ago. Since then, family, friends and coworkers have been asking if I’ve had work done. They insist it’s excellent work, little touches here and there that make me look refreshed, not ‘done’ — a hallmark of someone skilled at their craft. I’ve never had any work done. When I tell them I use Argireline Solution 10% in the morning, I wink and say, “Careful, it could happen to you.”
It can happen to you, too. Pop a bottle in your cart and see for yourself.

Above is my review for ARGIRELINE SOLUTION 10% (by EL on 25 May 2018) from The Ordinary website. I order all my DECIEM products directly from their site, so I’ve posted my reviews of their products there. My reviews are listed under EL (although I am not the only EL listed there) but all my reviews follow this format and style, so I’m not hard to find there. As I was not a member of Makeup Alley until today, I’ll repost the review here. It’s worth noting that, months later, I still use this product on a twice weekly basis as maintenance; preventative care for slight nasolabial folds and the small lines that seem to develop between the brows. I’ve still never had any “work” done (the thought actually makes me shudder, I’m such a wimp) no matter how much anyone insists otherwise.

I am obsessed with several of the Ordinary’s products and being a beauty geek, frequently recommend them to others while spreading the gospel of skincare. This one was underwhelming though. I’m 36 and my main sign of aging is furrows in my forehead. I had hoped this serum would decrease them, but there was no discernable difference. It was lightweight and slightly moisturizing, so for that I gave it 2 lippies. Oh well. The golden rule of skincare is “Your mileage may vary” and with The Ordinary, at least it doesn’t cost much to “fill up” on product.

i do like it and I do think it works but let’s be realistic- it’s not botox, the effects won’t be immediate and spectacular. I am 36, i use it daily in the morning under my eyes, between my brows and on my forehead in general. It’s the second layer (1st is always hada labo lotion all over my face). I let it sink in for a minute and follow up with the rest of the products, yes – products. I have noticed improvement under my eyes and my forehead is smooth (i was asked again who does my botox…nobody, i have never had it done).
This has to be a part of a routine for it to work and you need to be patient and… well remember this is not going to turn back time.
It last a good while too, no adverse effect.

My eyes get quite puffy and this product seems to have diminished my eye bags to some extent – after 1 week of use! The product is runny like water and only one drop is required for each eye. Despite this, I am giving the product 5 stars for price and effectiveness. This works better than many expensive eye creams. I follow this with eye cream to moisturize.

I was very sceptical about this initially, the first bottle I bought was just watery but I persevered and after 3 months I really noticed that my face, especially around my eyes, were definitely getting firmer. The second bottle I purchased wasn’t as watery, it had a lot more thickness to it and worked even better. I use this morning and night, mind you I use some pretty heavy duty products to prep my skin before this (Lotion P50w followed by Tatcha The Essence) and I’m positive they are working very well as a unit, for lack of a better word. I drizzle it all over my face and neck and am a firm believer in the tap pat method to move products into the skin. I believe that the more over 45-50 you are the more you will see this product work. Definitely recommend and definitely will keep repurchasing, I’m really glad it’s not in the same price bracket as the other two I use!

Can you give 0 stars for a product? I have never been so disappointed by a product – I’ve used it every day for close to 6 months and there has been no change in my skin texture. I have micro wrinkles on my forehead, honestly that are barely noticeable, so this product reads like it’s the answer to my problems. It just doesn’t work. Lancome’s Genefique or Missha’s Time Revolution serum did a better job. If I was individually using specific targeted ingredients right now I’d probably go back to Genefique for wrinkles.
Like the other reviewers state, it’s a water texture, easy to apply and absorb. I guess that’s the 1 lippie?

eh. This is supposed to make a difference to lines. It doesn’t. Someone else says its preventative, i doubt that. I think sunscreen is a more effective and proven anti aging product, this is more of a gimmick. Clear liquid, very very liquidy, more like water, put it on your face, does nothing, doesn’t upset anything, doesn’t hurt but did i notice a difference in the lines on my face after using an entire bottle of this? No. Would I buy it again? no. The Ordinary have some great products, i don’t think this is one of them.
