I saw recently that Millie Bobby Brown has released a new Makeup and Skincare line which is cruelty free and created without chemicals, so thought I’d purchase a few products to test out.
Because it’s created by her, I knew it was bound to be a hit and sell out pretty fast!
I have very sensitive skin, so anything that contains natural ingredients and no chemicals is a god send for me and pretty hard to find on the market.
The price is quite high on the drugstore market, and so I was hoping that it would work wonders because of this. You can purchase them from Boots in the UK, and Ulta in the US.
I saw that the Glow Yeah Lip Oil is one of their best sellers and is sold out on their website and Ulta, so knew that it must be a pretty good product. For £14, it’s pretty expensive for a Lip Oil, but thought I’d test it out anyway as the Lancôme juicy shakers are more expensive but they don’t seem to moisturise well.
The Lip Oil has some great ingredients to moisturise and smooth lips including African Mango Butter and Paracress Flower, which I haven’t seen in any lip products before.
I’ve been using this constantly for 1-2 weeks and it honestly has made my lips feel so nice, moisturised and my lips are no longer flaky. There’s no scent, which I think is a nice touch, and eventhough it shows a hint of colour in the tube, you can’t see any on the lips. It’s non-sticky and looks like a high shine lip gloss, but moisturising.
Overall, I really like this Lip Oil, but I’m not so sure I’d repurchase as it’s quite expensive for the product, and I’ve had lip balms which work almost as well for much cheaper.
