this powder is great. it glides on smoothly and not cakey at all. the color range is great as well. i got it in 821e warm light and it’s the perfect color match for me, i love it. will repurchase for sure.

This is an okay powder to set the face, it’s not very mattifying but it’s not drying either, it kind of has a subtle luminosity which I like. The price is good and as for the packaging I wish it was a bit more sturdy (it has a cheap plastic case) and I wish it came with a mirror. The texture is very soft and silky, I would probably repurchase this if I can’t find something better.

Yes it matches meso well and sets my beeswax-based concealer/corrector and gives just the right amount of coverage and the sheen is so much better than higher end stuff like Hourglass (less like a sweaty pig finish ) and it lasts quite well and doesn’t break me out like the Clinique n MAC powders- i just adore it!!! Reasonably long lasting and touch ups wd take a few seconds, not that i bother. My Cargo Blu-ray was my fave before this but it oxidizes and this one does NOT. Oh I have used 2 different Guerlain meteorites powders too (pressed and ballz- of the ballz i used the old formula n new formulasboth i still have one that i use just here n there)
both irritated my skin over time (over the course of the day) and looked ‘old’- although i used it on my mom acouple of times and it made her look rejuvenated/well rested, so maybe those things are intended fr older skin n somehow make a bit younger skin look worse?
i think the Shiseido powder was amazing n excellent way better than the other ones mentioned. (I have not bought that, just asked a saleslady to apply it on me to see what it was like). But price-wise Wet n Wild wins ! For cheap I had the Rimmel one n it irritates my skin n left a strange greyish tone so I had to get rid of it after half a year of trying
I use an ELF white ‘airblush blender’or airbrushpowder (idk which) brush with it fr best blendinv n picking up without cakiness, power! It’s been over a month n going strong! Good stuff Wet n Wild!
Oh I had used their old powder the one that came in rectangular packaging n i disliked that one as it looked cakey and obviously powdered and worst of all: irritate my skin!

I think that it’s a decent powder, but, i don’t find it to be a necessity with the Wet n Wild Photofocus Liquid Foundation. That foundation dries down matte on me and stays that way without me even needing to set it. I found use for it by using it as a light powder foundation, but, still in all, it just doesn’t really stand out in a major way to me more than any other drugstore powder that I’ve used. Which is why, I have no plans to re-purchase it, as I was hyped about trying it after it first came out, but after using it, I eventually just became disinterested in using it and ended up moving on to trying and using other face powders instead.

All of my adolescent years I’d used to use different powders from luxury to cheapest drugstore but this year my skin suddenly changed, I guess just matured. Every day I’d put the powder on the oily T-zone & multiple times reapplied during the day. Some of the powders were favs (clinique matte), some of them the worst (catrice all matte) but this one is probably going to be the last as I’ve decided not to use pressed powders anymore… or for some time at least 🙂 long story short I quite liked it, it’s not heavy, it will keep you matte for 3-4 hours, didn’t break my sensitive skin, also super cheap. After trying many of their products I can safely say that Wet’n’wild is my favorite drugstore brand with a lot of great affordable products. As I stopped using powder on my face now I’m only using it to prevent eyeliners from moving around on the upper lid and in the corners & this powder preforms wonderfully on this task.
Pros: super affordable, great for natural look, didn’t break me out;
Cons: the packaging is just bad and cheap, not easy to move it around

I use the shade neutral buff as a bronzer for my really pale skin. It’s a few shades darker than my skin and gives me a natural warmth that isn’t too overpowering. As for the formula of the powder, it’s smooth and lightweight. Not thick or chunky and is lightly pigmented. It would make a good light setting powder. When I first got it I found that it had NO pigment. I eventually realized that there was a hard top layer that needed to be scraped away. My main gripe is the packaging. It’s wicked cheap. I somehow managed to rip the lid and hinge right off. Now I have to be extremely careful about putting the lid on, so it sits open on my vanity a lot. That is enough to keep me from repurchasing it. I could spend two or three dollars more on a different face powder and not have that issue. This would not be a powder to put in your purse and use for touch ups.

I would love to tell you how this product perform, but the powder is pressed so hard that it is nearly impossible for me to get any onto my face! Brushes won’t pick any up, neither will puffs or sponges. The only way I can use this powder is to scrape some off of the top…and even doing that is tough, not to mention messy! Sorry, but there’s too much work involved for me to even consider keeping it around.

I was really excited to try this last summer after seeing kathleenlights rave about it…but her and I must have very different skin because this does not look good on me whatsoever. I tried it a few times, it made me look blah, washed out, dry, and aged me ten years. Put it away in the makeup graveyard for a few months, then pulled it out recently to try and remember why I stopped using it. I realized I was picking up zero powder no matter what brush I used, then realized a crust had formed over it making it too hard. I scraped the top off and blew away the excess. Tried again. Made me look old and dry and like I was obviously wearing powder. Felt like an old woman from another century. No thanks!

I used wet n wild’s old powder in the rectangle box, that they discontinued for this one. I miss the old formula. It gave good coverage, and this one doesn’t cover anything and barely even takes away shine.
