I live in the U.S. where anything Bourjois is difficult to find, but managed to get my hands on this when I visited the U.K. this past summer. If nothing else, it’s a unique addition to my makeup collection, but it definitely performs well too! I normally stick to peachy-pink blushes but decided to try Cendre de Rose Brune, a lovely matte, cool pink shade, and was surprised at how much I liked it. The packaging is adorable and unlike any other blush I’ve used, with a magnetic closure that makes you feel like you’re using something expensive. The packaging is pretty small but they still manage to squeeze in a mirror and a brush, and while the brush isn’t good for blending, it does perfectly hug the apples of the cheeks and picks up just the right amount of product for a soft hint of color. Not sure how I feel about the powdery/musky rose scent, but it doesn’t deter me from using this either. A great find.

review of santal 92 shade:
small update:
I noticed I love this product during winter more because it lasts longer hours then and it gives a much better finish, so it might not suit oily skin type, or combination types that are very oily. my cheeks do have some texture and pores so this one works well with it, but I’ve noticed that I have not loved using this during summer. we sweat more and the texture and all that combined makes it harder to blend and to stay put, even with matte primer and powders underneath. I might try to get a summer blush, or use a bronzer-blushy sort of shade that I have in the bronzer palette, maybe a cream blush , who knows. but again in winter, if you are combination or oily, this works really well. it’s beautiful then.

OMG this blush is UNREAL!!!
it lasted me, and it still looks and feels and smells new, 5 YEARS. and I still haven’t even PANNED IT.
CRAZY!! o.o 😛 it’s not even demi-flat. just faintly flat. maybe o.o
anyway, it feels nice, smells like sandalwood, tiny packaging with mirror and brush [brush is unnecessary at all but if you don’t have blush brush I suppose it’s a nice addition, though it’s not a soft brush] , I’m not sure if I got it in a sale, but it was really affordable then, 6$, weird because I know it should have cost more.
the point is, it’s lovely to use, build-able, and lasts a few hours. I would say , I have medium skin, this shade is a dark toned pink, which suits me well, however , it is baked, so the product tends to dry out, you have to scrape the top gently with a fingernail or hair pin to get some products and then you have to be careful you don’t apply much, but a day or two and it should be back to normal. I would buy again because it lasts ages, and I go through times where I don’t have money to buy products so it’s a staple. it gives a great warmth to my face after bronzing. worth it.

I have the Bourjois Blush in the shade ‘Ambre d’Or’ which is in a pinkish tone but has a golden shimmer on top of it, and these shades are my favorite blush shades!
It’s not the first time that I’ve used something from Bourjois, and it won’t be the last time!
The packaging is so cute, and it comes with a little brush that fits perfectly in that small pot!
I guess the thing that could annoy people is that the pigmentation isn’t as intense as some of the other brands blushes but to be honest, I much prefer less pigment, and I can build it up (especially with a blush) than loading up too much, and you have to start all over again..
I love this blush because I can build it up as I prefer, and the shade is gorgeous! I’m so in love with it, and it’s kind of has a French touch to the packaging!
I would recommend it, and they have other shades as well!
I love using it for my everyday makeup!

This must be one of the worst blushes I have ever used. I can not pick up any pigment with my brush. Yet when I touch it with my finger the pigment is there. Am I supposed to apply this with my finger or sponge? I agree the smell is magical even though scented products really arent your skins best friend. I have colors Ambre D OR and Rose DOr. I dont like the color Ambre DOR on my pale neutral skin. The Rose looks more natural for me. I have used these years back and they were crappy then. And they havent changed. Still crappy. Also once they are applied they dont last.

The shade range in this is great with the variety of flattering pink, peach, and beige shades. They apply fairly sheer, but are buildable so you can easy create a soft and natural effect. They have a mirror on the inside and come with a cute flat brush inside too. They last all day over foundation. The main downside is that the majority are shimmery so if your skin is oily and you don’t like this finish because it makes the shininess worse, your options are more limited. However, these function well as highlighting and radiant blushers if applied on the cheekbones like highlight. They are very budget friendly and have a lovely perfume-y musky rose scent as a bonus. But if you’re sensitive towards scented products, this isn’t the best blush option to choose.

I was afraid it would be too glittery, but it doesn’t appear on the cheeks. It gives a beautiful sheer color that lasts 8 hours(tested). The brush that comes with is actually useful, because it really blends nicely the color on your face. The price is a little too much for the amount, but I would definitely re buy it!

this is a beautiful blush and it’s bery affordable. gives u just the rigt amount of color, you can sheer it out or u can go crazy with it.

Just love it. The colour is perfect (33 lilas d’or/golden lilac). Because of its gel texture you need to rub the brush in it. I didnt got that immediately and I was still happy with the blush, but ofcourse now I am happier with it. It has a great blending power as well. The packing is just perfection, no need of commenting on it. The price is higher than rest of drugstore blushes but this one will last you literally forever. I have been using it daily for the past five months and it hasnt moved a bit. One of the best product I own.

After seeing so many rave reviews I decided to finally buy this famous blush. Quite late, considering the fact I’ve been into makeup for almost 10 years and I don’t use bronzer or highlighter, yet blush is an absolute must in my routine.
When you swatch those blushes in a store, they look sheer and it was one of the reasons why I was so hesitant to purchase it. Also because most of them contain glitter, which I hate, and have a strong, artificial smell.
I have it in the shade Sienne, a brownish pink. I was trying to find shade similar to my HG, Essence Silky Touch blush in Indian Summer. This is one of the “meh” shades that once applied give your cheeks the loveliest flush of color possible, especially if you have very fair skin.
This is one of the few shades that don’t contain glittery particles. Once applied it looks pretty, but you really have to build it up to be visible. The staying power is not impressive either. I still prefer my Essence blushes. I’d give it 3.5/5.
