I absolutely LOVE the Creme Lux lipsticks from ColourPop, with the exception of the super pale shades which just don’t work for me personally. All others, however, have stunned me!
The shade “Liquid Courage” is a deep, brick-toned burgundy that is perfect for the upcoming autumn months. It’s warm, doesn’t pull into a deep fuchsia on me, and looks amazing with everything from a smokey bronze eye to a simple winged liner. Or, if you want to go minimalist, just a swipe of mascara on the top lashes. It pairs so well with so many looks. Oddly enough, despite the fact that it’s a deeper shade, it doesn’t look too stark, so I feel like I can pull it off during the day!
This applies very creamy and incredibly pigmented, with no dragging or tugging. It’s so easy to apply, and it’s hydrating throughout the several hours of wear that I get from it, even after it’s settled to a semi-matte finish. It never feels heavy or uncomfortable. The extended wear time impresses me so much with these lipsticks, as it’s rare to get such a long wearing formula in a bullet lipstick.
The packaging is gorgeous, sturdy, and feels very high-end. And at $7.50 a piece, you really can’t go wrong! You’re bound to find a few shades that you love!
