This is a korean brand of foaming cleanser promoted as safe for sensitive skin. I’m mixed on this claim. It does foams nicely and clean well without overly stripping skin. Its pH 5.5 balanced so it maintains the skin’s acid mantle, and gluten free. Also contains Centella Asiatica Extract which is designed to help control redness. Although it didn’t in practice with me, this product actually caused redness with continual use. Perhaps because it contains fragranced oils? Or maybe it wasn’t in high enough concentration? (To include in a wash off product may not be effective anyway, as it allows the skin to have so little contact time with the ingredient, when compared to a leave on product.)
On the not so good side. I noticed my skin was not as calm and got a bit redder than usual using this product. Probably because it contains Lemon Peel, Bitter Orange, Lavender and Geranium fragranced oils. These are known to irritate the skin and make it more susceptible to the sun, speeding up aging 🙁 I also noticed a few pimples continually popping up on the jawline where I haven’t had a pimple in 2 years! Perhaps because it contains some ingredients that feed fungal Acne, and clog pores. Contains Aloe which alot of people find irritating or are allergic to. I used this up but would not repurchase and would give away if received as a free gift. I find other cleansers in its price range more gentle and calming to the skin than this one.
