I have to admit that since I bought the Lust MatteTrance lipstick in the shade called Flesh 3 it’s been quite a staple color especially during the daytime. I love red lipstick a lot but when I feel like wearing a less attention getting color I reach for the Flesh 3 shade quite often.
On me it appears as a warm very brownish rose or very brownish pink color. It applies rather evenly as most of the Lust MatteTrance lipsticks do and not patchily on my lips. Quite neutral enough to be worn with every color of outfit especially during the daytime.

These were getting a lot of hype and the price was right so I tried it. (Another mistake – when will I learn?) Although the colors looked beautiful in the advertisement – they all looked pretty much the same on me, which, unfortunately, was a washed-out nude color. The formula seemed nice, but I returned it. Also not a fan of the over-the-top packaging. I know the goal was to be festive – but do we really need to fill landfills with sequins?

Very unique true matte finish in a bullet lipstick, which I love
Cons:
This color is very flattering on so many people, but it washes me out a bit and I’m not sure when I would wear it.
Overall: 4* – it’s beautiful, it’s pigmented, and it wears well. If you want a matte brick red, this is a very unique color. It is just not a color I turn to or particularly flatters me. I’m on the fence on if I would buy it again. I’d be willing to give it another try one day.
