Curl Dive is halfway between a conditioner and a mask. It is richer than most conditioners and a bit light for a true mask. I like the smell (a bit of sandalwood?) but some do not. It is not cheap – about $30 for the 6 oz. pot/jar. It is marketed for thirsty curls – but I use it on the ends of my fine, straight hair as a twice-weekly deep conditioning mask. A good product – and I like Redken products in general.
