This is the first gel I’ve ever used that isn’t sticky or stiff, doesn’t leave that hard cast on my hair yet still controls frizz and defines my curls. I especially like that there are no drying alcohols in it. The gel is very lightweight but effective, especially for those with wavy hair, maybe a 3a curl pattern at most. If you are looking for strong hold this isn’t the product for you. I love that this doesn’t leave that feeling of having product gunked up on your hair the next day. I try to only wash my hair once every 5-7 days and I can refresh my hair daily with a spritz of water, add in some of this gel (sometimes curl cream first) and I’m good to go.
