If you want your nails to take four times longer to dry then buy this product! I have never used a nail product that was less useful. My nails dry with nail polish on its own much fast than with this ridiculous liquid. Four hours later I crossed my legs and got denim marks on my nails I painted four hours prior. I fixed them with normal varnish (Essie) and they dried in 30 mins… a hilarious fail. .

I’ve been spraying cooking spray on my nails forever to dry them faster. Other products just do not compare but recently I’ve noticed it dulls my shine a bit so I wanted to try something else. I love these drops! They are so easy and mess-free and really dried my nails much faster than I expected! Will repurchase.

i am currently on my 5th bottle of this stuff. i paint my nails on an almost daily basis, mind you.. and it is most often before bedtime. we ALL know about the dreaded ‘sheet marks’ that you get when going to bed after doing a fresh manicure. not a good look. this product will end your sheet mark woes. i don’t use it every time i do a mani because i usually use Seche Vite as a top coat and that stuff dries hard as a rock in almost no time flat.. but if i’m ever in a major rush or if i’m stuck using a different top coat or a matte or textured polish that doesn’t need a top coat, i ALWAYS finish with these Essie Quick-E drops and it does the trick. make sure you apply it after you think the polish is dry and let the product sit on the nails and soak in for a good 5 minutes. i have not had any problems with sheet marks since i started using this stuff over a year ago and i will continue to purchase it.
keep in mind, this product will not do any good speeding up the dry time of regular coats of polish, it works best as a finishing product. you need to allow your polish enough time to dry before using this.

I hate this product. I bought this to try because I love the Nicole dry drops, this is not the same at all. These do make my nail polish dry a bit faster but they also dry out my cuticles so badly!! Just terrible. Would not repurchase.

I paid $12 for this and it did nothing to speed up the drying time of my manicure (2 coats of essie polish and one coat of essie no chips top coat), I have used a $3 essence drying drop oil before which is actually better than this. Wouldn’t bother using it again it literally did nothing.

At first, these worked pretty well for me, but like other readers, I started to get bedsheet marks on my nails if I painted in the evening (even a few hours before bedtime). I didn’t change my method – paint two coats of polish, wait a few minutes, and then 2 drops per nail – so I’m not sure why they stopped working.
Back to Sally Hansen anti-chip/insta-dri for me…

No. No. No. One/two drops are not enough for one nail. It is a bit greasy. Does NOT dry nail poslish. Did my nails, put Essie drops, watched TV for 45min and went to bed. In the morninig I could see ridges on them. Bih no, no!!

This is the first quick drying product Ive used that I can say really works well. Im a little puzzled as to why some people find this doesnt work….because it really is a no-brainer.
I polish my nails at least once a week, sometimes more so drying time is a big issue for me. I like my nails to dry fairly quickly & I usually leave quite some time between coats in order to not “feel” the drying time as much as if you do all 4 coats (base, 2xcolour, topcoat) at once.
These drops work but I have found that you need to wait about a minute after the last coat before applying the drops just to give the polish time to surface dry. A minute is not long especially when it takes about a minute to do the right hand after the left. By the time you finished with all nails, you can start the drops on the 1st hand you started polishing.
IT DOES NOT GIVE MAGICALLY DRY NAILS IN AN INSTANT but thats why its called quick-e and not insta-e. It helps the drying process along but you still have to give your nails time to dry properly. I think this is where people are mis-lead in a way.
This product is liquid….like water liquid. Its not gloopy or sticky but it does have a slight serum feel when you first apply. It evaporates fast & washes off easily. Its completely colourless & pretty much odourless too. I like the dropper as opposed to any other method of application & the bottle is the exact same size as a regular bottle of Essie.
Highly recommended.

These just don’t work for me and I’m not seeing the instantly-dry, dent-free results that other people seem to be getting. The first time I used it I put two drops on each nail (three coats of polish plus topcoat, nothing was gooped on) around 5 pm, went to bed around 3 am, and woke up to bedsheet marks on every nail. The second time around I put two drops on, waited an hour, and applied the drops again. Same time frame, still woke up with marks on my nails. I was rooting for these drops because I hate the shrinking effect and eventual gooping of quick-drying topcoat.

I cant rave enough about this product. picked it up at target for $9.99. I was definitely skeptical but I went home, painted my nails (base coat, 2 coats polish, 1 coat topcoat) and then put 1 drop of this on each nail, and literally they were dry enough to move around and grab things in under a minute. 20 minutes later they were hard as rock, usually my polish will chip off within the first day (I type all day) and so far my nails still look perfect. Im so pumped about this stuff that I want to go buy it for everyone I know. its a MUST HAVE. painting my nails will never be the same.
