I really do like the MatteTrance lipstick in Full Panic on me. It is a hot pink shade but it’s a pink that has more of a red base rather than a blue base or a white base nor is it iridescent. The MatteTrance lipstick in the Full Panic shade doesn’t look neon on me either.
Even though I think that I’m supposed to be a dark autumn – although possibly a bright spring instead – the Full Panic shade doesn’t look stark or weird on me and yes I do have large lips. To me it’s a keeper.
As usual I love the textures of all of the MatteTrance lipsticks from Pat McGrath Labs because they’re very matte yet not ‘shrink wrap’-drying and are very lightweight and comfortable to wear on my lips plus all I usually need to do is swipe one or two short little swipes of the MatteTrance lipsticks and smoosh it all within my lip line and it’s all done. I don’t have to swipe and use off a lot of the MatteTrance lipstick at all in order to get the full color and wear of it on my lips especially regarding the brighter colors.
I love that because that means that I can eke out the whole tubes of the lipsticks before buying another one so win win
I’ve given this particular MatteTrance lipstick only four lippies because although I did buy it quite a while ago and I do usually carry it in a little makeup bag where it jostles with a bunch other beloved Pat McGrath Labs lipsticks but the whole bullet of the Full Panic shade popped out of its tube recently and almost dropped on to the floor so I melted the bottom of the bullet with a flame – just ever so slightly not a lot – and affixed it back into the tube again. I didn’t want to throw away all of my money like that LOL But at least my other Pat McGrath Labs lipsticks haven’t fallen apart like my Full Panic lipstick so that’s good news.

4* – this is pretty flattering on me for such a bright shade, but it’s the kind of shade I’d like some gloss to. The formulation overall is nice but can be dry.
