You just need to use very very little. It is amazingly pigmented which makes it diffivult to use without practice, but it also lasts well. You can dilute the colour with any pressed powder which is cool. Cheap makeup is great nowadays.edit : the wax dug out q
With the back of the included angled brush and applied with the brush onto spots where no hair grows (scar and ends of brows) then the coloured powders after–works and lasts well.

Let me say I’ve never used brow GEL before, so I have nothing to compare it to. I have very light brows and sometimes I fill them in with a taupe powder, but of course it doesn’t last. I got this today and I have to say I am quite impressed. the pencil glides right on, looks natural. I used the gel and it provided a bit of color, and touching my brows now, I can still feel the gel holding strong (I’ve had this on all day). So far so good….

Nice little drugstore find! My brow powder just wasn’t cutting it when it came to filling in bald spots. I also had to come to terms with the fact my brows weren’t growing back and I really needed a pencil to create the illusion of a few hairs here and there. I ended up getting this in the dark brown (brownie, I think) because I’m darker complexioned with dark hair. Anyway, the pencil was great! A few gentle trikes and my brows looked full and natural. The gel provided great hold all day long…I have longer brow hairs that like to stray! I’ll definitely be getting this again, can’t beat the price…$1.99!

I bought this in Chocolate Brow-nie, and it’s better than Revlon’s Brow Fantasy, which costs 3 times as much, which I had been using. The pencil is super soft, and a deep dark neutral brown. The gel is excellent at keeping brows in place, and has a very sheer tint of color so no worries about looking like you took a sharpie to your brows, LOL! Also, the gel isn’t sticky and goopy like some, and it doesn’t flake, or smudge. I highly recommend this brow pencil/gel combo!

Perfect to fill in brows, missing parts, colors grey hairs, and hold brows in place. I got this in Chocolate Brow-nie which I really like. I have medium brown hair, but I decided that the more medium brown color had too much red in it so I chose the darker one (there were only 2 colors). It has a pencil on one end and matching dark brown gel on the other (like brow mascara). I have sparse brows, some grey, and some bald patches. I have to use a light touch and make thin strokes, but it matches my brow hairs pretty well. I used to use the taupe color, but it looked more “filled in” artificially on me. I think the taupe works well if you have enough brow hairs. My brows are unruly and stick out so the gel makes a big difference (more effective than wax). My brows are probably my biggest beauty challenge (since it makes such a big difference when they look good), so this is my HG product right now.
WnW does no animal testing (wnwbeauty.com) and has the caringconsumer.com cruelty-free seal. It’s hard to avoid completely, but I believe we should try, especially when there are so many great cruelty free alternatives out there to the animal testing giants like Cover Girl and Olay.
