I have fine-medium, color treated with a red ombre that required bleaching first, super straight hair. The ends of my hair are not super dead as I got them done by a professional who knows her stuff but they are a lot more dry. This brings lost keratin to my hair without making my hair feel overly dry or brittle the way some people’s hair can react to keratin based products. I do mix this with the Ion Intensive Shine Semi Permanent hair color in Hot Red to add some tone back to my hair after it’s been washed (washing fades it a little) and doing this works well in the shower. I’m a Paul Mitchell student so I do get a discount, otherwise this is very expensive but well worth it for those who reacts well to and need keratin.

I have 3b curls and my hair loves this cream rinse!!! I use the Generic Value version from Sally Beauty Supply. It’s just about the same as far as I can tell.

Not sure if my hair has reached the keratin overload., but this product makes my hair feel oddly crunchy and dry after using this conditioner. I have stopped using conditioner all together and my hair feels so much better without it, it is puzzling.

Smells great and works well. I’d buy again!

I’ve gone through two big pump bottles of this conditioner. The first bottle I used I liked it but then the second time I bought it, I felt like it wasn’t working as well as it did the first time. It’s a very light body conditioner. I had to use a lot because I have thick long Asian hair. It had a nice tropical kind of smell which was nice for the summer but I don’t think I’d spend the money I did to use this product again.

I am with the others on here that are of the opinion that the formula is a bit too light. I really enjoy the extremely delicate fragrance of the Awapuhi Wild Ginger line. I just started using the moisturizing shampoo (which I also wrote a review on), and with both the shampoo & the rinse, I need something a little “stronger.” This creme rinse basically did not condition my hair much at all, and I ended up having to use a heavy dose of Ojan revitalizing mist to detangle it. My hair is heavily highlighted and dry, and has always been prone to tangles, even as a child. I contemplated buying the conditioning treatment in the line, but the back of the tube made a lot of mention of “protein,” and my hair has never responded well to protein. I am going to keep the shampoo, ditch the creme rinse, and look for a heavier conditioner to pair with the shampoo. I think the creme rinse might work well for someone else with less dry hair.

Eh. I bought this as a companion to the shampoo and I am underwhelmed to say the least. Perhaps it would work for people who get oily hair easily or usually skip their conditioner. But for me, it is less moisturizing than a cheap V05 conditioner. I have been using it on my roots and following up all over with a better conditioner. There’s no way I could use this and not have a bunch of tangles and damage afterward.

I waited to go through 3 tubes of this until I rated it…
If you see my review of the shampoo, you will know that I recently went from bleached blonde to brunette… and for whatever reason, my hair feels dryer now. Well, I think this is why. I LOVE the shampoo and the intensive treatment, but this however, I’m not sure about, so it gets 3 lippies. My first tube made my hair silky, soft and detangled immediatley. But now, I don’t know if my hair is used to it or what, but it just dosen’t seem to have the same effect as it used to. I am currently looking for something better. I will update if anything with this changes, but I don’t really see that happening, to be honest.

Excellent conditioner. The formula feels a little thin, but it moisturizes as well or better than most thick conditioners. The scent is stronger than the shampoo, which I like as I find the scent very pleasant. Rinses easily and leaves my hair soft, glossy, and detangled. This won’t take the place of a deep conditioner or treatment mask, but for an everyday conditioner, this has quickly become a favorite for both me and my husband. It is quite expensive, especially relative to other Paul Mitchell products, but the quality really comes through in this product, so I will be repurchasing in the largest size I can.
