I absolutely love this moisturizer. My skin is highly sensitive and very reactive to unnecessary ingredients in skincare which sadly are rampant due to greed. This is the first moisturizer that didn’t cause irritation or breakouts. I have noticed my melasma spots fading a lot since using it regularly. The only downside is that I have to use a lot of it since it is a very light moisturizer. I wish there was a richer version of this for the winter months.

If you are looking for a light moisturizer to use at night, this might be a good one, especially if, like me, you have oily combination skin that is sensitive from retinoids and you live in a hot and humid environment. For anyone else, I would not recommend it. Although it’s marketed as an overnight mask, it doesn’t have a thick or moisture rich texture. The white cream is very light and watery. It contains niacinamide and a couple of plant derived oils and appears to be free of fragrance from what I could gather from the Iherb site. I use it as a nightly moisturizer on days when it is so hot that my skin makes it’s own moisture, but on days that I feel drier, I reach for something different, because this won’t cut it. What angers me is how a lot of these cosmetic companies do not list all the ingredients on the label. I am not raging against Cosrx, but the industry in general. I have recently bought and broken out from a DermaE moisturizer that omitted lavender from its ingredient list, a well known irritant to which I happen to be allergic. And who can forget the Mario Badescu debacle, where cortisone was secretly added to a “calming” skin cream that led to a lawsuit from customers whose skin was ruined. It is high time these companies were regulated to protect people from their predatory practices.
