I only just tried, yes it can be a heavy perfume like the era it was created in, it shouts glam, I think it is the sort of perfume you wear when feeling strong and at night. I will try it for a few weeks and tell you more.

I have never gotten into Calvin Klein fragrances because i always associate them with that atomic spice bomb of a scent Obsession. Very spicy with nare a flower to be found. I have been reading good reviews on CK frags and decided to jump in and try some of their older perfumes with Eternity being the first. Im not a spicy scent type of guy. Im a floral guy. Big, heavy garden flower type scents and Eternity qualifies as that. It has tons of floral notes with the main one i keep hearing about which is carnation. I cant say that i detect carnations but can detect the big mish mash of floral notes it does have. Its like walking through a meticulously gardened garden. I can imagine this scent would attract bees to yourself if worn outside which has actually happened to me with other scents before. LOL. Great job

I usually refrained from purchasing CK fragrances. This is because I don’t usually liked how they smelled on me. Imagine my surprise when I stumbled upon this beautiful and classic scent. Back in my highschool days, I always smelled this scent on most of my teachers, and I immediately fell in love with it. However, I did not ask the said teachers about it, as I was rather an introvert back then. As time passed, I gradually forgot all about it. I attended a party with my cousin the other day, and imagine my delight when I smelled this scent on her after so many years. Imagine my surprise when she told me that it was CK’s Eternity EDP. I just had to get this fragrance, after all these years! And I was not disappointed at all. It blended perfectly with my body chemistry. It is a unique scent like no other fragrance. CK really got it right with this one. It is a fresh, floral and spicy scent, and like its name, it lasts for an eternity on me. It opens with a rather sharp citrusy note that I cannot quite describe, but it slowly settles down to the crisp, fresh and spicy scent which to me feels perfect for all occasions. Nonetheless, I will not advise on blind-buying this one, as not everyone will appreciate it. The packaging is a bit simple, typical of all CK fragrances, but I liked its simplicity all the same. Will definitely repurchase once I am done with it. My only regret is that I should have discovered this heavenly fragrance sooner!

This is a classic! Clean, preppy, soft yet it lasts all day!!! Calvin’s are nice perfumes! Escape, euphoria, ck-in2u all clean and refreshing and sexy!

My colleague wore this and it smelt so nice， clean and soapy . On me it smells different but still very soapy . Love the longevity of the scent . It’s s fresh out of shower scent

Heady, intoxicating, when I am on B power mode I wear ck! I have ck1 3.4oz, eternity 0.5oz, & rollerballs of ck2/Obsessed/euphoria (3 kinds) when I am in assault kick azz mode I wear ck! I got eternity today I had never really paid it any mind in the 90s I wore escape which I plan to buy a bottle of that when I get paid. I got my eternity today i promptly turned around & ordered a 3.4oz bottle. I got a refund from a diff item so I had the cash to go do it. I don’t like toting around big bottles in my bag so I bought 3 atomizers off eBay. 1 for the big bottle of this, 1 is for coco mad, & 1 is for Gabrielle if I like them I will order more! But this is in a sharp white floral not screechy but attn getting powerhouse stuck in the 90s wear your brown lipstick! Good sillage & major projection. Caution: this WILL announce your presence & linger in your absence I am certain. Yes to rebuy! I’m liking house of ck. Rawrrrr!!

This perfume smells so bad. I have never in my life smelled anything that stunk this bad. Sorry but, this is awful! Would not purchase. I hope they discontinued it.

More than most perfume houses, Calvin Klein is all about “statement” fragrances that reflect the zeitgeist. Eternity, created in 1988, was clearly Klein’s antidote to the hilariously raunchy Obsession, an orgiastic spice-rack of an oriental that was starting to seem out of place in the burgeoning AIDS epidemic. Eternity took that immoral landscape and disinfected it with immaculate laundry musk and pristine freesia & lilies– not to mention the magazine ads with Christy Turlington embracing her well-scrubbed husband and kids.
But there is nothing subtle or shy about Eternity: it is loud as hell, rather like being pelted with fresh soap shot from a cannon. It is, after all, still an ’80s creation. (It wasn’t until ’94 that Klein went subtle, with the citrusy CK One.)
I love Eternity all the same. I wore it for years after its release, and man did I feel sexy in my black spandex and leather jacket with the hyperfeminine Eternity aura wafting from its lapels! This is the rare scent for which reformulation in recent years works in its favor. The new Coty Prestige version can actually be sprayed three or four times without fumigating everyone in a 5-mile radius. It’s still pretty potent. And, it’s still pretty as hell.

Loud. Too much, I would say. For me it is a very bold, assertive fragrance, one should never buy untested. I like it, but I rarely use it, never in the office anyway, never during the summer or using public transport, as it can cause headaches. But for a cold, winter day, it can be a very nice choice and leave a pleasant trail behind. Longevity and sillage are above the average, which is always a surprise nowadays!
